Large smoked chicken sandwich and large pulled pork sandwich- did NOT disappoint! Sauce is on the side- tried original which was very good and spicy which was PERFECT - a little heat that lingered but did not burn! Both meats were tender, juicy- not the least bit fatty or dry! Baked beans were good with addition of a little of the spicy sauce, chips and pickle as other side-good compliment to the sandwich! They offer a smoked half chicken, and brisket I'd come back to try! Lots of folks picking up Easter hams, plates. Busy small spot, but friendly folks.
Go. Just go. If you’re a BBQ/Small Business/Dive kinda person, do not miss this little joint if you’re ever close enough to get there. We’ve been multiple times. Food is great, service is fast, and it’s an easy in and out with prices that are shockingly good.
The bbq sandwich was pretty good. Average amount of meat, shredded pork. The pics posted on here with meat stacked high is not what you get. They were friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. It s a small quaint dining area with seating outside. Not bad for a quick bite passing thru.

All I can say is, “wow.” You would never know by the street view that this place would be so good. Brisket was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Well hidden gem! We will be back!
This is a little place with big flavor. They smoke and cook their food and serve you that, fresh, daily.I got the pulled pork plate with baked beans and fried potatoes. The pork was fresh, tender, delicious, juicy, and not full of fat like other bbq places! The baked beans were good too, but the fried potatoes were fantastic - crispy, salted, flavorful, and delicious. Even the toast that comes on these plates was good.I also got iced tea, and it was fresh and delicious.I don't usually write a review for a place I've only been once, but I was incredibly impressed. I'm already planning the next time I can go back.
Stumbled on this place on the way through town. Boy am I glad. Don't usually order ribs because most are under cooked and sub par but these were perfect juicy and easy off the bone. As good as the ribs at the old Brick Pit in Mobile. Pulled pork was just right. Lunch plates priced reasonably and the service was very friendly. Worth jumping off the interstate and bypassing the processed fast food. Try the seasoned fries. Recommend 100%

Good ole fashioned bbq. Everything was delicious, the meat and the sides. Staff was kind and the prices were great.
A must stop when in Fort Payne if you are a BBQ lover. We either eat in the restaurant or get a to go order to take back to the RV campground at DeSoto State Park whenever we come to the park. The outside of the restaurant doesn’t look like much, but isn’t that the way it always is with good bbq?
