My husband and I are from out of time and we stopped by thinking this place was a bakery . We was greeted by a friendly staff member which told us about the restaurant and let us know what her favorites were , we purchased some sweets and thanked her . SUPERB! We visited for the first time yesterday afternoon. The restaurant had a rustic cozy setting. We ordered Italian Chicken Alfredo and Chicken Parmesan. I chose a delicious Caesar salad with homemade dressing. The Chicken Alfredo was wonderful with homemade sauce. The portion was generous. The Chicken Parmesan was spectacular. I visited Southern Harvest for lunch today, August 2025. Don’t let the prices fool you because each meal will feed two people. I ordered the pork chops, smashed potatoes, and mixed beans served with a roll. The food was the tastiest I have had in any restaurant I have frequented. The atmosphere was friendly and southern with smiles all around.
Don’t miss this gem while traveling through FortPayne. And don’t forget to get a cinnamon roll to go. You will regret it...
