Great food! We had the catfish filets and country fried steak and everything was really good. Worth locating since it is a little ways outside of Ft. Payne!

We had to come out this way today and this.plaxe was so good ! We didn't eait 10 min on our food and it was fresh and amazing. We had steak and snapper .salad bar and blooming onion A must !!! Friendliest waitress and loved it ! Will definitely come again

We visited Woody’s today, as we were looking for another restaurant, and boy were we glad we did. I had one piece of catfish with a baked sweet potato and green beans and the hubby had a bbq pork sandwich with fries. Both means were delicious and very filling. The staff was very attentive, friendly and prompt. We will definitely return

It was our first visit and we were very pleased!

Honestly so disappointed. Waited 15 minutes to even get waited on and then another 20 before we walked out due to not having received drinks or anything. There was easily 15+ people in the restaurant and only one waitress. Owner was standing around chatting instead of helping her. salad bar was empty and people waiting on drinks and food. If owner refuses to help the one waitress, he needs to get her help or close down for the night due to lack of employees. Felt bad for the poor girl. Do better.

Everything we have had here is really good. My favorite is the melt in your mouth steak and I Ioaded baked potato with salad bar. Love Mrs Holly. She's always making sure service is excellent 👌 the blooming onion is another one of my favorites. You won't be disappointed eating here!

They have a really good burger. It's fresh cooked, as you like it done and I must say the medium cooked one that I had was delicious. Fresh lettuce, red onion and tomato and melted cheese, seasoned just right. It was my first time there and I'll be going back to try their dinner menu items. Really nice place.

Just left Woodys, our first time there but it will not be the last ! Great service, atmosphere, food and price !! Fried green tomatoes were perfect ! Chicken Fingers were the best I have had in a long time, overall the food was very tasty and I can’t wait to go back !

My wife and I ate there for lunch and the food was great. The service was fantastic, and the owner even came out and had a chat with us. We definitely want to come back and try their steaks. I have heard a lot of good things about the steaks.

Stopped for lunch while on the yard sale. Waited 10 minutes to be seated while there were empty tables all around. Waited another 15 minutes for drinks to be delivered. Had to ask waitress to please bring the drinks. The food was horrible! I specifically asked if the chicken would be a real chicken breast and it was a frozen chicken patty that appeared to have been cooked in a microwave oven. It was like eating a piece of rubber! Could not eat it. The mashed potatoes seemed to be instant and watery. Literally, the worst food I’ve ever eaten out.So sad since this is such a great location with loads of potential!!!

Thought we'd try this place last night and turned out very disappointing. Started with their "seasoned" bloomer but really didn't taste any kind of spice, not sure what it's seasoned with dipping sauce was simply mayo n ketchup nothing special. I ordered chicken fried chicken w a baked potato n slaw and my girl ordered country fried steak,green beans and baked potato.....we ended up with 2 orders of chicken fried chicken which were simply chicken breast tenders battered n fried and I was served green beans our young waitress brought my potato after which although served in aluminum foil I believe were baked in a microwave no color on the skin or any real baked crispiness you'd expect lacking salt as well....both dishes were served w grilled bread however only 1 side was grilled....Cole slaw was VERY finely diced with a food processor but tasted good...don't see a return visit for us here....

Ate here several times. Some times better than others but never bad. I like my steak rare and that's exactly how it comes. That's hard to get most places. My only complaint is the steak could use some seasoning. But I also understand that if it was seasoned someone would complain about that. So I just season it to my liking.

We went to woodys grill with our friends from fort payne alabama. . The service atmosphere and country fried steak dinners was totally awesome. It was our first time experience and we will go back and we recommend to everyone reading this to go experience woodys you want be disappointed. Like I said it's aawesome place to eat at. And very beautiful with a Hugh fish tank but you can't eat that fish. Lol. Be hungry because you'll get your money's worth. And prices are very reasonable.

It was our first time eating there. We had went to Adkins and bought some furniture and my Mother in law recommended your restaurant. We eat out a good bit and I am a meat cutter by trade. I was very impressed with everything. We all got different items and everything was great. For you to be well off the beaten path I was very pleasantly surprised! Very reasonable prices , good portions, and delicious. Some people are impossible to please, but we know we will be back. If it was closer to us we would be regulars! Some people don’t appreciate anything. I read some of the negative comments and was really surprised at the silly things they complained about. They should be grateful. You can enjoy a nice sit down meal for what it costs to go to McDonald’s or even less. Please keep doing what you are doing and ignore the entitled generation!I highly recommend your place and will be back very soon! Thank you!
