This was my first time catering, visiting Ms. J’s restaurant and the entire organization was very please and took home seconds! Everything was amazing! Ms. J went over and beyond. Highly recommended people!

There was a sign apologizing in advance for the wait but that they were short on help.

Keeping that in mind, the service was fairly quick (10-15 min. wait for food).

This is not the type of sit-down restaurant where the waitress comes to your table. More of a take-out style where you go to the counter to order your food and wait for your order to get called out.
Space is very limited in there. There are about 4 booths that you could...

My family and I ate here for the first time today. It was hands down the best soul food in rural Alabama! I had the fried pork chops, collard greens, pinto beans, cornbread and a slice of cream cheese cake! The hostess was welcoming with the most friendliest southern smile! I also got to meet THE CHEF, MS. J! She was so polite and after having a conversation with her and eating the FOOD, she TAKES PRIDE AND COMPASSION IN THE CRAFT OF MAKING FOOD FOR THE SOUL!
