GREAT place for lunch. I would actually give it a 4.5 star rating. Very good basic home cooking. Highly recommended for a good lunch. Everyone give it a try and help keep a good restaurant in business.

Surprisingly delicious food!! All home made. Best broccoli casserole in town. Best mashed potatoes now that Courtyard is closed. Best everything, if you're looking for a home cooked meat & 3. Or, in my case, veggie plate. Best selection of veggies around. Nice service! But, it's cafeteria style. The atmosphere is actually pretty cozy for what they're working with. Hopefully, in time, with continued community support, they'll grow to a larger, less gas station-y...

We love the food from April's Kitchen, and get carry out almost weekly. However, the service that April provides goes above and beyond. Today, she came to our business to bring us the condiments (without us asking her to) for our hamburgers that were left out of our bag. In addition, she brought us cake, and tried to refund our money because she felt bad. We took the cake, but wouldn't let her give us the refund.
