“My husband and I went for the first time tonight, and we fell in love. The atmosphere was really nice and it was very clean. We were greeted as we came in the door with a hello and a smile. The server was friendly, and answered our questions about the menu. We ordered a cup of gumbo and a cup of red beans and rice as our starter and they were amazing. We both had the Who Dat burger and it was mouthwatering. My husband loved the gumbo so much he ordered another cup for his side. I had the fried onion strings as my side. They were well seasoned and crispy. The portion sizes are hearty, the prices are very reasonable. I of course had to try the beignets, and they were excellent. We highly recommend JP & Son, and we will definitely be returning soon!”
“We bought the bbq pork dinner with two sides. It was ok. The macaroni and cheese had soggy noodles. The green beans were tasty. Previously we had eaten the bbq sandwich and it was excellent. I prefer the sandwich over the bbq plate.”
“This is a great brewery in an old building. The Buffalo chicken wings were excellent. This place was remodeled a few years ago and looks great. We sat on the patio tonight and listened to live music. Truck stop honey and Bama mosa are very good craft beers. Awesome place.”
“They have the best grilled chicken chimichangas, and the owner is so nice.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the food here and the owner always talks to my kids about the sports they play. (Soccer)”
“One of the hidden gems of Gadsden. Great location with amazing views of the river from the bar seating area. Great drinks. And the boils are the best, better than juicy crab any day. Certain nights, they offer all you can eat crab legs, but you better get there early because they fill up fast.”
“Enjoyed our hot lemon pepper smoked turkey leg with the crayfish Mac and cheese. Place was clean and quiet during the day hours. Waitress was really nice. Definitely try the flight ”
“Best anywhere around. You know it's the real deal taste and they give you enough. It's my 4th time and I'll be back many more times. Why go anywhere else for BBQ? They close at 6 so make sure you get there in time. I love it. I go out of my way and pass up several others to come to Paw paws.Keep the quality and quantity the same and that's all it takes!!!”
“Longhorn is our go-to for family outing when I visit my dad in Gadsden. We love this location and I always look forward to taking dad here. Very clean and always fast!”
“everytime i go here it’s a wonderful experience. Great food, great staff super attentive, fun, and funny, and always super clean love this place best place in Gadsden.”
“Always a great experience when we go here, the food has always been great but food service can sometimes be very slow even when there aren't any other customers there. But overall they have great food, a lot of TV's for sports and even have live music on the weekends.”
“My absolute favorite sit-down restaurant. Everything is always so delicious, I love the cheddar biscuits and shrimp . I've never had anything from there that wasn't delicious.Parking: There's and abundance of parking.”
“This is the best place I’ve ever been, been going here since I was born and I’ve made so many good memories and met loads of people that I can never forget. The staff is so nice, polite, and would NEVER. Do anything wrong (on purpose of course). Everyone here is absolutely an angel from heaven and god sent. If you ever visit here we have a wonderful kids area, football, soccer ball, volleyball, net ball, and many other things you can find. We encourage you to ask our bar tenders for chalk and draw your heart out. Whether it’s absolutely trash or Mona Lisa art we don’t care.As far as food and drink, not old enough to drink but I can imagine if you like craft beer you’re in for a treat, for my teens & kids we have Shirley Temples and any lemonade you can think of, as well as a lot of sodas. We also have burgers, nachos, and other good food. For things todo while you’re here, most days we have music, Tuesdays we have jazz (go Arnold) and on Thursday we have trivia. Most Fridays we have a live band (probably Adam & Reagan or Craig McGriff) they’re always amazing and everyday at back forty is a blast. And 4th of July is a different animal. So, to rest my case, yeah, come check it out. Bring family, friends, or just yourself! It’ll be worth your while❤️”
