“Went Sunday for brunch and oh my! This is a hidden gem. Located in the downtown area, the old building just adds to the authentic feeling you get when dining in a warm welcoming atmosphere.
The sparse decor gives an industrial, turn of the century feel. The service is professional and deserves recognition. You could be in a James Beard award winning restaurant anywhere and their service would stand on its own.
The food from appetizers to fresh house made sides was to die for! Huevos ranchero where my daughters pick and she loved every bite. I had the breakfast burrito with potatoes and the potatoes were absolutely some of the best I’ve ever had. I make pretty good potatoes! These were better.

“For the 2nd and last time, we went to Red Lobster in Gadsden to eat with 4 people and an empty parking lot. The wait the first time (3 months ago) was an hour and a half so we went somewhere else. Today we decided to try again and again the parking lot was empty. We left after sitting in the lobby for an hour and 20 minutes at 9:30 at night to go find somewhere that we could get food!!! When we left the parking lot only had about 15 vehicles in it. I have gone to this restaurant my whole life but I am officially done! I worked in food service before college and when I was in college, and they had no reason at all to have customers waiting that long! My business will be taken somewhere else even if I have to drive a long distance.”

“Pruett's has become our go to Friday night spot for the last year or so mainly due to two of the friendliest waitresses ever! Emilee and Kinsey are our favorite servers and we only dine in if we can be seated with one of them! They have become like family over the years! “By far the CLEANEST most FRIENDLY restaurant that gladly served us at 8:30 and waited on my husband and I to eat and finish our drinks. The store had fresh shiny paint on clean walls. Beautiful colors and decorated walls that wasn’t cheesy like most Mexican restaurants! The atmosphere felt like Jefferson’s or something. I asked my husband if it was better than eltap good wise. And should mention Jackie was trying to train a new hire at same time. Was an amazing thing to watch. Food was good and hot. They deserve a raise!”

The noodle are always good quality, never mushy. The meats are tender not tough. They don’t cut corners. “This place holds a special place in my heart, me, and my granddad came here for years when I was little. I stopped coming for a little while, but when I met my wife, we continued the tradition and have been coming regularly ever since we met. The food here is amazing, I’ve yet to eat anywhere that has better Yum Yum sauce, and the portions that you get for what you pay for are amazing. I eat a lot of food, but I still find myself ordering the children’s menu items just because of how big the portions are. The soup that is complementary is amazing too. The sweet couple that run this place are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If I could ever eat, just one restaurant, it would be this place.”

Parking: Just like most restaurants, there is ample parking and handy cap-friendly. I am a disabled veteran, and I have a hard time walking cause of my prosthetic leg and I get in and out fairly well.

Kid-friendliness: If kids love chicken salad, they will love this place. They also give you their special cookie with every meal.

“The young lady was real rude and kept trying to end my order before I could get done then my food was cold, I got a bacon cheese biscuit and the biscuit had way to much butter and was very hard the bacon was so tough I couldn't chew it and the cheese was beside the biscuit instead of being in it like it should have been”
