“First time trying Back Forty, and what an experience! We ordered several things from the food menu and all were excellent! The service was great and the atmosphere is top notch! There is something for everyone there, including the kids who easily entertained themselves while we waited. Let me tell you about their Customer Service. We were blown away!! Ladies and Gentlemen, Customer service is not dead!! IT'S HERE!! We left knowing for certain that we matter to their establishment. They deserve every great review that they've received and we cant wait to stop in again! They gained regulars today! Stop in and support them! You wont be disappointed!“

“If I ever suddenly move to Gadsen Alabama it will be because of this restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant from restaurants in 44 other states. The food takes me back to my Grandparents kitchen. It’s a must if you stop in Gadsen.“

“I’m a huge fan of Waffle House, and I had the chance to visit this location recently. The work environment is amazing—everyone is always smiling and makes you feel right at home. I especially want to highlight Taylor, who served me on both days. Their attention was outstanding, friendly, and professional. Definitely five stars, and if I could give more, I absolutely would. “This was a great restaurant for our family! The personal-sized pizzas were perfect because everyone could choose their favorite toppings, and every order came out exactly as requested—even the extra cheese!
The calzone was the standout. It was packed with gooey cheese, brushed with delicious garlic butter, and made with incredibly soft, fresh dough. It was honestly one of the best calzones I've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back!“

“Initially I gave a 1 star because we had Been here since 5:50 it’s now 7:25, and still no table. I get that we are a big party; but don’t tell people 30-40 minutes and it be over an hour wait!!
However they redeemed themselves with excellent service and good food.“

“The steak had great flavor and was cooked well. The quality was pretty good for the price (I really didn't expect USDA Prime). My server Lyla was what really made the visit worthwhile. Even though she was new to the job,she did an excellent job. I will return, probably not for the steak, but for the excellent service.“

“went to supper with my sister and we had a great waitress and wonderful food! the burger was good and so was their skillet queso. their customer service was great! when we went to leave my steering wheel was locked up and we were having trouble getting it unstuck to crank my car. there was two workers going to take their lunch and they grabbed two others to help us out. so four of the wonderful workers helped us get my car going! they were great!“

“Earlier today, I went to the Rail as our first date since moving to Gadsden. We were running behind so it was an hour before closing. I was very impressed by the speed of service, from both the waitstaff and the kitchen. The pimento cheese balls were soft and warm with a light crunchy breading around it. My Philly cheese steak was excellent, with not too soft peppers and onions and juicy shaved ribeye with a 5 star sauce. The flourless chocolate cake was rich and delicious, and my Peach old fashioned was fashionable and fantastic thanks to my server Hannah.“
