“This place is not popular enough, it's on the beautiful coosa river, and you can eat out side in the spring or summer. The ribblets is falling off the bones when you eat it, they are best in town.. you can get Nachos every thing on it for only $5.00. They serve vegetarian meals, and bbq, Ilook at the menu, they have alot.. you can even buy beer in a cooler. Very friendly. If you have not went here, you are missing one one the best places to eat.. and the prices are good...”

“If you have not yet used Union Jack for your catering needs, you are definitely missing a treat. Simon and Paige catered an exquisite English Tea hosted by Collier-Butler Funeral Home for a group of women of our community. The Tea was held at the Gunn-Bellenger House in Gadsden. The food was absolutely delicious.”

“Visited with my brother and sister-in-law in Gadsden last week and we spent a mid-day driving in the area, enjoying fall colors - we stopped at Local Joe's for lunch. I had the 'fully-loaded-nachos' w/BBQ sauce and other toppings - it was AMAZING. The service was prompt, loved the 'setting', the store, the dining area, everything about it. The cost was very reasonable for what we had. We have good places in upstate NY but we don't have this. Very much looking forward to coming back again. Thanks for a great memorable lunch.”

“Decided to try something new, so we decided to try a little bit of everything. The fish tacos and shrimp tacos were very good. The crab legs were large are fresh and steamed to perfection. The shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes were on the spicy side, but they were still good. The catfish filets were so big we couldn't finish them and tasted great as well. We loved the boudin balls wish we had bought more of them”

“One of my favorite places to go eat and most definitely my favorite burrito shop. I love this place so much I had them cater my wedding rehearsal years ago (way way way cheaper than Moe's ridiculous prices and way way way better). I get the chicken burrito almost every time, my wife loves the bowls and my oldest daughter gets the bubba double (soft taco shell wrapped around the hard shell with cheese or refried beans to hold it together). Good quality products and maybe most importantly great sauces (spicy ranch and my favorite zesty sour cream, you will want extra of that, trust me). I would have a picture but I always tear into my food with no thoughts of taking one. So good that if I bought a franchise location of a business this would be one of only two places I would consider buying into (if they decided to franchise out).”

“I have a sinus infection. Went to the store and noticed this place as I drove by. Decided that Wonton soup would be the perfect comfort for all that ails me tonight. So about 7:09pm on a Wednesday Evening, I walked in, ordered a small soup and 2 egg rolls. Total was $5.07. Food was ready in 9 minutes. Piping hot and delicious. No nonsense ordering, quick, cheap, and just what I needed. I am currently sitting in my recliner enjoying it immensely. Thanks New China.”

“The sandwich i got on Tuesday. Wow! It was so thick with meat cheese I could barely take a bite. Half of it filled me up. The chips , oh my. Where do I find them? Hawaiian sweet onion chips”

“I have been here before and food was ok. Thought I retry since I wanted breakfast and it was late. The new cook David they have on staff now is Awesome!! Best breakfast I had at any local place around. He knows his stuff and is very friendly. I hope they take care of this gem!! The waitress was so nice and the only one working. She was efficient and with the amount of people in there she done a wonderful job.”

“Only place around etowah county Alabama to get good fried chicken livers...they are just always cold on the buffet...ate there 3 times.. the first time, the livers were warm and got me to want to come back. The next 2 visits the liver was really cold , and liver isnt good at all cold, so I ate other things..”
