I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 100 STARS! BEST FOOD IN GADSDEN! HANDS DOWN! THE FRIED CATFISH MEAL (steak fries & cole slaw) is 100 stars! The service by ZOE was incredible too. Friendly, kind, a smile, eager to serve you! What a joy to have found this place! I will never guess again where to eat my steak or seafood! Thank you Chris and the entire staff! I bought all the cake I could find so I will know which one to order for dessert when we return! Ervon and Yvonne will be back. We LOVE IT!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner and had the most delicious wagyu ribeye. Finally, a restaurant cook that knows how to grill a steak! We’re truck drivers and go all over the US and it’s hard to find a good steak these days. Barney’s Roadhouse hit the mark!

Came in a few years ago and met the owner and her husband had an amazing experience. Came in today and hostess ignored my wife and then a server comes to tell me about rotation when I have ptsd and can’t sit in the middle of a public place. So we decided to leave…. Wish it would have been the same atmosphere.

We came from out of town and Barney’s was recommended at our hotel. This place is amazing. The chef Jinx came out and spoke to us at our request because the good he cooked was amazing. We had steak and chicken parm. Erica is a great server and we will be back. Great choice.

Ate dinner on 8/28/25 had the fried pork chop with mashed taters, green beans , corn, dinner roll 1 fried green tomato and a small cup of peach cobbler with drink and tip under $25 I highly recommend it if you looking for some good southern cooking

Just visited this restaurant. One of the worst servers I've had in a long time. Only had one other customer but to busy talking to deal with us. 15 minutes after we sat down, four others came in. Before we even got our order placed. They had there appetizers. I ordered a margarita. It can out with, as there sign says, 10 percent alcohol. The glass was 28oz and she put exactly one shot in it. I asked for another shot to go in it. Instead, made me a new one in a smaller glass. As far as the food, no ideal. After placing our order. She buses a table and forgot to put in the order. Came back to verify what we ordered and she was wrong on both orders. So I canceled our orders and paid for my drink that I didn't even stick a straw in. Waist of time

We were two couples from Louisiana stopping in Gadsden for the night and wanted to try other than a chain restaurant. Reading the reviews prior to deciding to stop, helped us make the decision Barney’s Roadhouse would be our choice. Boy were we glad we stopped! We were greeted by Tonya and she took care of us all evening. Tonya was very friendly and took our order from memory and all dishes came to us as ordered. The atmosphere was spacious. Our meals were delicious and tasty. Barney’s gets a five star rating from us.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stopped by while on a road trip and we had a great time! It’s very lively with music playing and our server was super sweet! She answered questions we had and even recommended us some food options! I forgot her name but I hope she’s there next time we stop by! The food was delicious and the service was great. It has a very laid back vibe and everyone in there was super sweet!
