Fantastic food. Don't let the name fool you. This is not a place with peanut shells on the floor. Wagyu steaks cooked to perfection and not overpriced. Great Sunday dinners.

My Husband and I stopped in today, for the first time. At first, we were a little apprehensive because it was empty. In all fairness, it was only noon on a weekday. But, we sat down anyway and started looking over the menu.

It’s a little on the pricey side for some things, but once the food came, I completely understood why.

I ordered the Hamburger Steak with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Every single thing on my plate was delicious! As truck drivers, we frequent many places along our routes. 99.9% of those places, the food comes off the back of a McLane or Sysco truck…and you can tell. But when I tell you this food is the real deal, it is! The mashed potatoes still had skins. My hamburger steak wasn’t uniform. The Brussels sprouts didn’t need anything added (salt or pepper). It was divine!

My Husband had the Shrimp basket. He is an even bigger skeptic than I am and NEVER finishes the food on his plate. He did this time. And that alone speaks volumes for this place!

*I didn’t finish mine only because I had the VSG procedure and physically couldn’t. But I would if I could. It’ll make great leftovers for me and I can enjoy it a second time around 😊

First time eating here and I was very impressed! First off, our waitress Tiffany was amazing! Everything we ate for late lunch on the daily special was fantastic…. Buuut, then there was THE peach cobbler! I haven’t had peach cobbler that good since the last time my grandmother made it 25+ years ago before she died! We ordered a half pan to pick up for Thanksgiving! Seriously, folks. It was seriously good!
Barney’s came highly recommended and lived up to the hype!

Barneys has the best steaks. But very pricey. But it is Wagu steak the most overlooked restaurant in Gadsden

100/10! Best southern food I've ever had! Tried fried green tomatoes for the first time! Saved this spot for the next time our travels take us this way. Bravo to the cook! Servers were awesome and so polite!

So got here, hostess was nice and all but sat us at a table that apparently the server had left and went home. So the bar tender/server got our drink order and appetizer but forgot to tell whoever was supposed to be our server that we were there. So, after over 20 mins, we finally placed our order, got our drinks and appetizer. We got fried pickles. The first couple I ate were decent enough actually. Then they started crumbling in my hands. They were so overdone, they were inedible. The pickle inside the batter crumbled when you broke the breading. Apparently, the table next to us agreed because on their app sampler, guess what was left on their plate? Yeah, the pickle bricks. Then when we got our check, $78 dollars for two people for decent meals, crappy appetizer and A VERY LONG WAIT ALL THE WAY AROUND. Considering this is a Saturday night and the place is so empty it echoes. Being next to a truck stop, this place should be banging and busy and just overflowing! But I now know better than to EVER step in here again. Our actual waitress was great when we got her, but waiting on someone to see if we needed the to go stuff and when we didn’t get our check with the to go and had yet another wait there, I spent more time waiting than anything else. $78 my tail. $40 of it for a 14oz steak that was 10oz fat. My dogs will at least enjoy it because my son and I won’t eat just fat. NEVER again! Another customer leaving about the same time as us said it best. It’s only a matter of time before this place closes. It’s crap. Beyond mediocre VERY EXPENSIVE food and slow, eh service, the atmosphere is just…well, nothing. It’s boring with no personality and nothing stands out about anything in there. It’s all around too much for way too little.

So I went there a month ago and I typically don't drop a review but I came there a second time and the service and food never changed it was great. How this place doesn't have 4.7stars makes no since.

Was like dining in a morgue, service was terrible 30min for appetizer and another 45min for a steak that was inedible. Was highly disappointed and will not return.
