Hi I came here this past Saturday around 2:00 when it may have not been so packed probably and it was a joyful experience coming here. We were told rumors about this place of how good it was by some friends of ours, however it took us time over a year to figure out if we should come here or not due to the distance. Overall I would say it was not bad for us. In my opinion they have the best buffet all you can eat in the area surrounding outside Gadsden.
The fried fish didn’t have a lot of grease from the outside was nice and dry, but as for the pork ribs it may have been eye popping. Also so were the other food dishes. Who needs to go to a bbq joint to have ribs when you can come here and the bbq sauce is awesomely healthier than some other places. The food was enjoyable and it we have plans of coming back again

Beans and Greens restaurant is great for a couple, single, or the whole family. The vegetables are very good and the strawberry cobbler was delicious!

If you are expecting good homemade southern cooking, then you will be very disappointed. Everything either comes from a can or was frozen. The only fresh thing there were the lemon wedges. The only thing good was the Sister Schubert rolls. They serve everything buffet style and it is a hodgepodge of items from hot dogs to some kind of meat swimming in watery gravy. Their pepper sauce even looks watered down. They make you pay before you eat, I am guessing this is because once you look at the food, you will walk right back out. My family and I will never go back.

I have been going to beans and greens for years . I ordered 252 dollars for our July 4th 2025 family get together. I had 3 pans that did not taste good or that was wrong. The baked beans had way too much garlic, the banana pudding which I have ordered many many times had under ripe bananas and made the pudding bitter but what has pushed me to put a review was with the managers respond when I called him this morning. I didn't call to ask for money back but to give feed back to the catering side of their business. We have eaten there for years and years. I love beans and greens. I was shocked at his response when I told him about the vanilla cake I ordered. It was to be a cake with cool whip or dream whip topping. I would supply the strawberries at home. The cake had regular vanilla frosting ( sugar) not cream cheese etc. I told him that. He immediately told me that was NOT so. He doesn't even keep that king of icing in the building. We went on and on and I assured him I knew what the difference was. I was just stunned by his attitude. I don't know what made him be so negative on this being the case since I still have most of the cake left in my refrigerator and can take it there and let him see the cake with white (sugar) icing not cook whip. We'll I just needed to let anyone check their cakes before they walk out the door. I didn't ask for a refund either. He acted like I was trying to stiff him. Oh well. I got it off my chest. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. He was very rude to me a customer and as much called me a liar. I have the cake with white icing in my frig. Lol
