I mean this is a really good place I would have to say they do have good donuts there however I'm more of a licking Good donut type guy but that's just me though! I mean I've never been disappointed with anything that we've ever gotten from this location and there's always nice people working there that's a plus.
I can tell you this much they're better than Krispy kremes that place is disgusting.

I don't live in Gadsden and hadn't had a lot of experience with Cothran's beyond an occasional donut. But let me tell you what made me a fan of this wonderful bakery. My daughter was married at the Gunn-Bellenger House recently. A former baker, myself, I've made dozens of wedding cakes and was excited to make one for my daughter. Of course the unthinkable happened on her wedding day. Traveling to the venue the cake slid -- this had NEVER happened to me in 15 years of baking wedding cakes!-- and by the time we got my cake into the venue it was beginning to fall apart! (I fell apart, too!) We immediately got on the phone to Cothran's and asked them with all the humility we could muster if they could possibly do a quick order and have us a replacement three-tier cake in time for the wedding, which was six hours later. Not only did they step up and save the day for this mama, they delivered the cake in two hours' time when they delivered the groom's cake! I was amazed and the most grateful mother-of-the-bride on the planet!! The cake was simple (I was able to salvage the gum paste flowers I had planned to put on my cake and so the cake was beautiful and still featured my daughter's style), but delicious! I'm not sure if they know how much it was appreciated, which is why I'm writing this lengthy review. A bakery that can produce a delicious product quickly will always have my business! Thank you, Cothran's, for taking our little hiccup and making it one of our best wedding day memories!

I highly recommend Cothrans they are wonderful. There was an accident transporting my step daughter's cake to the wedding venue. We called and thankfully they were able to deliver us another cake in a couple of hours that was delicious. They are just wonderful and definitely earned my loyalty for going above and beyond for us.
