Service is always terrible. The food is decent but the service is so bad that the food quality doesn’t outweigh the long waits, poor service and the inefficient staff. Looking around the room it didn’t take long to see there is definitely a management issue. A manager would not allow their staff to be texting and ignoring their customers.

Went there last night for the first time and got wrong order (little misunderstanding) and got it fixed but the corrected order ended up dry and not properly fixed. Waiter was nice but the foods should be better.

Food was Awesome! 5 Stars for the food. The service wasn't that great. They originally gave us plastic forks, we asked for silverware to cut our food & they gave us 1 knife to share. (Granted it was a young man serving us, so he probably didn't have a lot of experience.) Atmosphere was great & people were very nice. I give it a overall 4 Stars because service was terrible.

We were actually excited to eat here because we saw it online and we sat at a table and NO ONE even bothered to come take our order or anything. Women came in after us and got their order taken before we did so we walked out. Horrible experience.

Daily lunch specials are good and great price. Food could have been a little warmer and that's the only reason for lower score. Good service and plenty of food for the price. Small cup of dessert is included.

Did the Chief Ladiga Trail and hit this gem on a night we had our truck. It was a great choice. The gentleman behind the bar does a perfect job making cocktails. We had the bloody mary/appetizer sampler wow! And the Chief which was their take on a long island with a twist so good. Tried their fried green tomatoes they top with pimento cheese and jalapeño jam, man was that good. I ordered a burger with an extra thing of jalapeño jam, thank you very much

We celebrated my Mom’s 90th birthday and they allowed us to have the private room and set it up for gifts and cake !! The food was delicious and the service was excellent!! It couldn’t have been any better!! We are from Glencoe and love the Big Chief and now Downtown is our favorite downtown restaurant!!!!
