Downtown Chief catered my company’s Christmas Party and I cannot rave enough!!! The food was phenomenal, the setup was timely and everyone was extremely nice. I can’t wait to use them again!

I have left this review in other spots in addition to this one. This restaurant earned the effort. There were three of us. We had 45 minutes to eat and then 15 to get to the courthouse for a meeting. I had seen the place a few weeks before and wanted to try it. When we arrived the parking lot was about full. Good sign for food quality usually. Bad sign for someone who only has 45 minutes to eat. We asked the wait-staff if they thought they could pull-off a 30 minute race to get our food to the table. She worked with us by advising what meals/items took longer to prepare and we said game on. Best burgers I have had in Alabama in a decade. T H E B E S T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three of us were in awe of how good the meal was. The wait-staff was fast, courteous, knowledgable, helpful, and pleasant. I am usually happy if I get just two of those in a server. Our server had them all. We are already planning to go back for a less rushed, more relaxed dinner soon. The dining room was clean, comfortable, and did not have the echo-filled cafeteria acoustics a lot of places do. Outstanding place. Outstanding burgers. Outstanding service. I highly recommend it.

First timers! Family night, so we tried lots of different things! The fried mushrooms, fried pickles, trash can fries (with pork), downtown Burger, lemon pepper wings... All of it was fantastic. We have zero complaints whatsoever. The environment was great, the food was great, the customer service was great. Even the background music was perfect.

Made a reservation for 12 on December 26th. Was told we would have a table together at 6:00. We showed up with family from out of town and the place was closed! No message from the establishment that they would be closed and unable to honor our reservation! I sent a private message and no reply much less an apology.

I celebrated my 45th birthday at your restaurant and the service was top notch! Miss Cammie did her thing! And the food was amazing! The trash cab fries and the buid your own Mac and cheese bowl was outstanding! We will definitely be back!!!

The restaurant was clean and a net environment. The food was average. The service was very poor. Waitress was not friendly at all and we had to wait long periods for her to come back to our table. This was early evening and was not crowded at all. Was never even offered a refill on drinks.

I may be the only bad one it’s been a while but my wife and myself would eat there every Tuesday when we are in town I get water my wife brings in a Diet MtDew on my last day to eat there our not normal waitress charged us for the drink we brought in I question she told us her manager told her I said if you do this I will never eat here again I figure that dumb mistake has cost them $1000 by now I wouldn’t eat there if they the only restaurant in town I hope the $2.50 you stole from us was worth it. I hate it for our great waitress we had up until this one she was great I need to stop by and just go in and give her a tip for being great for so long until her coworker screwed it up for us and her.

Management is trash. Sat down and had one beer. Was checking it out to bring my kids here later on. Manager came in and asked if I plan on paying this time. I had never been to this establishment in my life, never seen her in my life, and haven't been in Gadsden in over 10 years. Absolutely absurd. She needs therapy or glasses or something. I had a pocket full of money and glad I didn't waste it here. Much less, to possibly have my kids disrespected!!!!!
