May have caught them on an off day, based on the other review for this location, but I would have to rate our experience as just ok. This is a smaller location than what I have seen in larger malls, that's ok, I understand not wanting to have product go to waste. They have the same cookie selection as the larger locations, just maybe not as many of each individual flavor. Something for just about anyone that is a fan of cookies. Really, my main issue here, was the size of the cookie isn't great and at approx $2.00 each I'd expect a little more. Also, the service was ok, the person working felt distracted and wasn't really paying attention to us. The employee was nice when they interacted with us, it just wasn't the type of service you expect when you are the only person there. Cookie quality, again, was ok. Nothing extra special about them. They weren't warm, they were ok soft, and the flavor was muted. All in all, if we wanted a sweet treat, this is an option we'd consider in the future, but we wouldn't go out of our way to come here.

Wonderful cookies and always great customer service! As someone who has worked with people for years, the workers handle themselves well considering how horrible people can be. I've witnessed customers be completely unreasonable and berate the workers to start testing them, calling the workers names and making accusations. I admire the young ladies and gentlemen who have to deal with people as it seems food service workers get the worst type of customers. I believe the manager's name is Sherry and she always does an amazing job on the cakes. She is always polite when I come up and knows exactly what I want every time. I will continue to come back as often as I can for my cookies! Thanks GAC in Gadsden for the best cookies and sweet smiles! I feel those who have posted bad reviews have also left out their actions that warranted a reaction and so those should be taken with a grain of salt. The workers at this store have always been good to me and my friends and family. Maybe those with negative reviews came at the workers negatively as a start. It's a cookie, not a life or death situation.

I have never been so humiliated in my entire what until I went to the Great American Cookies at the Gasden Mall. Keeping in mind that I had no intention going but groupon sent me and great offer so I said what the heck it's for Mother's Day. On 4/25/19 for at 7:52 p.m. I tried to purchase two 12 oz cookies cake for Mother's Day I was rung up by LaQuana while the assistant manager was on her phone texting and typing. I was trying to explain how I wanted to order but the assistant manager kept interrupting in saying well we don't do it this way !!! This is the way it has to get done !!! I'm just using the groupon deal trying to understand how it works. The Assistant Manager kept interrupting again by saying that I wasting my time!!! I could do the app before I come up there to purchase. When I try to explain to her my situation she kept interrupting. She was rude as heck. Then she turned towards me and started to use (!@$%) profanity. Stormed off turned and said I'm done with u. Turn around and went in the back and start throwing up her hands is still calling and start talking on the phone. Confusing enough I never raise my voice used profanity or even that in a started shouting with this Assiant Manager when I asked to speak to the Manager I was told Manager won't be until Sunday all I was given was a phone number and a time to call her back. So therefore be careful when you go to that store and try to purchase their products. You might be meant with hostility if you have some questions.

Absolutely RUDE employee Saturday night 2/2/2019 about 8:45 pm. Refused to sell me 4 cookies told me to leave and called security because she didn't want to serve me..to close to closing time for her. Said she was the assistant manager.

Just about every time I stop at the Gadsden Mall, I come here just before I go. I really enjoy their sugar cookie "Double Doozie", but they tend to put a big glob of creme in between the cookies, so I ask them to put a little less of it in them. The cookies are always soft and fresh, and the employees can usually be seen cutting the dough and preparing them right then and there. They have a decent selection of drinks and slushees, including Gold Peak tea, which is a good combination/balancer for how sweet the cookies can be. The employees I've dealt with during my visits here over the past couple of years are some of the sweetest people. They always serve me with a smile and are always straightforward and quick with service. The slightly-high price range is worth it for such good service.

If you are a cookie fan this is the place to go. If you are determined to lose weight just stand outside and sniff. The peanut butter cookies are heavenly and also the snicker doodles.
