They have a wide variety on the menu, me and my mom got take out from them, the food was alright I got a double cheese burger with fries and the burger kind fell apart on me but was overall good, my mom got a country fried steak with mash potatoes and mac and cheese, the country fried steak was a bit of a disappointment and the mac and cheese was kind of bland, the mash potatoes tasted like starch water, she still ate the steak and mac and cheese but avoided the potatoes after one bite, and it also came with cornbread bites with jalapeños, which were old and kind of stale, we also got a fried veggie plate and we got the fried squash bites, fried banana peppers, fried green tomatoes, all of which was pretty good, I recommend trying the fried banana peppers and fried squash bites, I also order and extra side of fries which I did not recieve unfortunately because the fries were good. The staff was friendly for the most part, kind of felt awkward and the atmosphere was kind of noisy it was hard for me and my mom to talk while we waited.

Good food, but bad service. I'm leaving here for the last time. I stood at the counter for a long time. The cashier saw me, didn't take my order, and put together silverware instead. I just walked out. Don't waste your food at this business, the service is bad, and had been mediocre at best in the past. This place is ran by rude unprofessional staff.
We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is amazing and we didn’t get sticker shock when we paid. My best friend recommended them to us. We live an hour away, but it’s only 30 minutes from our church, so it’s going to be our once a month, after church place to eat! Food and service #1!

Staff is very friendly. The fried mushrooms are the best I’ve ever had. It’s worth a trip solely for the mushrooms.

Reasonably priced, homemade vegetables.... Great place to eat!
I have been a big fan of Hungry Hut for many years. When I was young, my family frequently ate here. Now that I am older and have a family myself we still enjoy the great food here. Some of my favorites are their fried green tomatoes, meatloaf, pinto beans, and chicken fingers just to name a few. They used to serve a divine cornbread salad and I would LOVE to see that back on the menu. They also serve wonderful pies and cakes. Thank you Hungry Hut for being such a great place for me and my family to enjoy!!

Service is a wee bit slow, but that's partly everything is cooked to order, but super accommodating, accurate and friendly.
