Best home cooking in town. Sweet tea, fried chicken (worth the wait), squash casserole on Thursdays and a heaping of banana pudding anytime. The drive thru bbq sandwich deal is great if you’re in a hurry. From start to finish Pruett’s is the best.

First time ever eating at Lil Pruett’s Drive thru. Initially wanted to go to the Pruett larger dining facility next door, how ever I miss the entrance so I end up at the drive thru place. The $1.99 bbq sandwich, I didn’t really like it. I felt it was bread, pickles and sauce. Where’s the meat??!?The $12 beef plate, didn’t like it much either. Too much sauce over the meat, the meat was cooked thoroughly. The mac & cheese was a big glop of cheese with very few pieces of macaroni. The fried okra was soft and squishy. The star and best item of the plate what is the piece of Texas toast. The Texas toast was very good. I will respectfully decline to try and eat here again. I was not satisfied my lips are still tingling from the spice in the barbecue sauce it was not an enjoyable meal. I recommend eating somewhere else. I gave it 3 stars because if a apocalypse happened and it was the only food left, it is edible it’s just not an enjoyable edible meal.

Went one time before this and all was good, this time the bbq pork has a rubber or fuel taste, so strong we can't eat them. We live too far away to go back to return it, not worth it but it can't be eaten. Also was given beans instead of Mac and cheese but that's not a huge deal. I have 10 sandwiches I have to throw out.

Bbq was below average. Mistakes were made with the Cole slaw and potato salad. First time customer Used drive through, is the restaurant better if you go inside?
My favorite local mom and pop restaurant. Daily specials available. Southern fried green tomatoes are delicious! Add homemade dessert and it just doesn't get any better.

My husband made sure that when we went out that we would go to Pruitts. But it had to be a pinto bean day. He loved the BBQ but no sauce. He loves a sweet sauce. He loved the vegetable plate, the whole menu really. We never had the desserts 🍨 But im sure they are excellent. If you are going during the work week. Go at 11am because the crowd is good for Pruitts. We didn't like standing waiting for a table. Or you can come after 1:00. On weekends the same thing goes. They do play football ball on their TVs. Try it we love it. 5☆☆☆☆☆
