We live in Birmingham and try to get up to Pruetts to eat once a month. Great food, good people, make you feel like family/home! It's definitely worth the 45-minute drive!
We absolutely LOVE Pruett's! The food is amazing always!! The service has never been bad. The only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is the noise level and that's because it's always busy. We try to make a regular trip on Tuesday evenings for their chicken and dumplings. It is by far my favorite place to eat these. Tuesdays are the only day they serve them and it is their screen door special - that and two sides for $11! That is one heck of a deal, especially in this day and time.
