removed majority of the car-pull-ins and staff seemed uninterested in helping when we pulled into the drive through, and refused to elaborate on things they mentioned. so overall, good food good wait time bad staff service. also the machines are awful and you have to scream over the loud speakers for 5 minutes or manually order to get 4 items.

I went to the drive through at 10:15 and no one spoke. I drove back around ,again nothing. I went to a stall and pushed the red button, nothing. I waited and pushed the button again. This time a woman practically barked at me that they were drive through only. I went back to the drive through and placed my order for a water with extra cherry and a shot of vanilla. I got to the window to pay and the woman apologized for the wait saying that they didn't open until 10:15. Crazy, because the sign on the drive through said 10:00 as did the website and Google. Now to the drink. I'm glas it wasn't expensive, because it was bad. There was very little flavor and it tasted a bit like just carbonation. Never again will I visit the Sonic in Gadsden.

This was my second time going to this restaurant in a few days each time I have stopped by there was a problem. The first time I couldn't get food because they were working on the system. I stopped by the other day and the lady said you can only order drinks . When I got to the window I asked her twice when will you be serving food again and she said in 30 minutes. Yet they were discussing the poor score of a somewhat newer restaurant across the street. Sonic had little to know customers and the other restaurant had there customers and more. Go figure..

Dude. I waited 7-10 minutes for a medium drink and pretzel, only for the pretzel to be just warm, and the drink was watery. I would be a bit understanding if they were mildly busy, or if the pretzel was fresh. And I tipped because I knew someone who worked at Sonic and have seen those paychecks. This is the second time I've tried this place during slow times, only to wait longer than expected for barely warm food and watery drinks. Sorry dude, not again.

I would give zero stars if I could. Pulled up and all stalls have signs that say “Drive thru only”. I pulled in and placed an order for ice creams through the app. I pulled up to the drive thru and the employee told me they could not make ice creams right now because they were “cleaning the machine”. Meanwhile there was not a soul in the parking lot and both employees were sitting outside at a table doing absolutely nothing. She told me she could not cancel my order and I had to go through a lengthy process after the fact to get my order cancelled and refunded…. Seriously the weirdest fast food experience I have ever had. I don’t know how this place is still open honestly.
