I had never been to the Old Barn, but it was highly recommended by all my friends, so Sunday afternoon we drove there , knowing it was 30 minutes after closing, just to find it for later.
Scotty was outside working and came to the car and asked if we were hungry and wanted food. We nodded and he went inside and came out with 2 to go boxes . This random act of kindness will not be forgotten.
He and his wife were so kind and the food was DELICIOUS!
I picked up a menu and we can’t wait to come back when they are really open.

We drove an hour from Ft Rucker to eat here and were not disappointed! The service was excellent, the place is adorable and the food was AMAZING! We got the filet mignon and the rib eye. So delicious! It was so worth the drive!

We arrived around 6pm on a Friday only 3 tables had people but we waited to be seated for a few minutes. Once seated it seem to take awhile before we even got to order drinks but that's alright we were in no rush. We both ordered a ribeye steak plate but the steak was dry with no flavor. It was a big disappointment. We ended up boxing up the food for our dogs. Won't go back there or recommend it.

Our first trip to the old barn in a few years! Our server, Ethan, was absolutely wonderful. Loved his hospitality and the fact that he was so friendly and well mannered. The food was amazing, as expected. We will definitely be back sooner than later!

I go there quite often as it is close by. The city is all right, but I like the country, and this is out in the country. Love the atmosphere. This was one time a real barn, I can remember it. Service is great. It is so good to see young people working instead of just hanging out. Praises to the owner (Amy) for giving these young people a chance to learn and earn a living. Now as to the food, if there is any bad food on the menu, I haven't found it yet. The steaks are great, and the seafood is best that I have found this side of the Gulf of America, and better than most of theirs. I am a regular there because it is my kinda place. Don't forget to sit on the porch and enjoy the country side.

Waited a half an hour to even be seated then 20 more mins to take a drink order another 20 mins just to get drinks and order then when the food finally comes one steak is literally black with char and inedible the other is like chewing on a piece of shoe leather and completely inedible, we drove an hour and a half just to eat there and when we mentioned to the waiter that the food was not good the owner came out being loud and aggressive and just plain rude. Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING TO THIS PLACE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE WE WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!!!
