“I have never had a better steak. The baked potatoes was smoked, drinks where fresh, bathroom was VERY clean, the floors and counters, walls, tables and chairs were clean. The service was the best in the area. I will go back many times over!!! HIHHLY recommend this restaurant!!!”

“Everything was so good, from the smoky velvety and tender chicken quarter to the snappy and slightly sweet coleslaw to the mustard and again a little sweet potato salad, and the typical but perfect banana pudding. Service was good and quick. Only bad thing I would have to say about the place is that the restroom was not as orderly as it could have been, but it was clean. Oh, and the parking lot could be a menace if you drive too fast, so watch out! Definitely would go back again!”

“Beautiful restaurant with friendly service and excellent food. I had the chicken and dumplings, green bean casserole, and banana pudding. The flavor of the food is awesome. We will definitely return to try other menu items. Be sure to join their Facebook group to see the menu for the day. They are only open Saturday and Sundays now, but may open for lunch at a later date. Be sure to check out this new restaurant!”

“If you're undecided, and love the flavors of a fajita dish but want something different, get the molcajete instead. It comes with all the fajitas meats and veggies plus chorizo and cheese and nopales cactus chunks. The chicken and steak pieces are huge. This easily serves 4 people, especially if you eat the free chips and salsa. The salsa is so good. If you love it, ask for another! We get the corn tortillas instead of flour. You can also get a rice/beans plate for each person or you can order the molcajete for however many people. It's a steal for the price and it comes out in a beautiful display. Just trust me on that. Enjoy!Also, the fajita quesadilla is delicious! The homecoming chicken reminded me of fajitas but smothered in cheese on a bed of rice.”

“I'm old. Much older than the crowd at this bar. That's the only reason i only gave it 4 stars, HOWEVER - so far as bars go, this one had potential cuz the women outnumbered the men & that's got potential written all over it. If you're under 30, check it out”

“Stopped for lunch and a road break on the way elsewhere. It's not "fast food", as a sign in the restaurant plainly informs patrons. Delicious, tho. I ordered chicken and dumplings (daily lunch special) and it was, indeed, special. In the very best possible way. Lots of pulled chicken, both dark and light meat, and the dumplings WERE NOT repurposed canned biscuit dough. IOW, just like Granny used to make it. Yum. Devoured it. Spouse ordered pulled pork barbeque sandwich (which I sampled) and it was also delicious. I chuckled when I read a review comparing the BBQ poorly with Texas. Texas barbeque is called a "cinder" where I come from in Memphis, 'cause we know what to do with a pig in Memphis. ;-) BTW, the place was packed with locals. That's a five-star review right there.”

“Good ice cream, but the men's bathroom was disgusting. The urinal and the sink hasn't been cleaned in a really long time. And the hand soap was either empty or didn't work.I specifically told the staff about the issues, and while I was there, nothing was done. At least fix the soap issue immediately. Normally, I will not eat a place that doesn't have soap, since I wonder how the male employees clean their hands. They were all women today, so I let it slide.Additionally, the AC wasn't working, so they had portables piping in through the open doors.Hello owners ...Corporate, this place needs attention.
