If you're undecided, and love the flavors of a fajita dish but want something different, get the molcajete instead. It comes with all the fajitas meats and veggies plus chorizo and cheese and nopales cactus chunks. The chicken and steak pieces are huge. This easily serves 4 people, especially if you eat the free chips and salsa. The salsa is so good. If you love it, ask for another! We get the corn tortillas instead of flour. My son and I were passing through Troy and decided we wanted to eat Mexican. We choose Monarcas Mexican Restaurant. I had a fajitas sub sandwich and my son had the king burrito. Both entrees were delicious. The salsa was very good and had a little kick to it.

Food is great. Service not as good as in past. The restaurant in Troy al drop some when open a new place in Brundidge Al. The crowd of people is off some. Need to put more work into the Troy location. Build it up again. But I still enjoy this restaurant.
