So good to eat at Shoney's again! We were traveling through & stopped in for lunch. Our home town had one years ago and we miss it. The food was hot and tasty, we were seated right away and the staff was very attentive and helpful.
I read all these reviews. You stopped at a shoneys it’s not a steakhouse. So with that being said. We walked in and EVERYONE said good morning. We got seated fast. She got our drinks to us fast. We got the buffet. Which was hot. There wasn’t a big selection BUT again it’s a shoneys. I was happy they had both breakfast and lunch options when we went at 1130. We definitely enjoyed it. And if I’m ever traveling this way I will stop again!!
What a wonderful choice when in Greenville Alabama.. I ate the buffet and loved that they had rice and fried fish. The fish still had the fin, and it was fried perfectly. We had a party of seven and Shoney's continuously made sure the food was fresh and plentiful. Be sure to try the pancakes off the menu, four pancakes will feed four people. Lol
