Visiting the area & I just randomly searched restaurants in the area and Ed’s Dairy Bar came up! The ladies here(8/23) were so welcoming and informative! The bacon cheese fries were sooo good! The BLT was also good & I’m not even a tomatoes fan. Thank you ladies for the great first time experience. I will definitely visit again to try your recommendations and the ice cream.

What a beautiful renovation! I was happy to see a bathroom when I got there 🤣🤪which was nice and clean. Of course, I had to have my usual “Ed’s Burger,” just like I always get at Ed’s Drive In, in Jackson. The hubs went for the COB. Both were really good! We didn’t have any room left for ice cream this time, guess that just means we’ll have to come back another day. 😉 We enjoyed sitting outside eating out lunch and we will definitely be back. I personally can’t wait to come back in the evening, underneath the lights and grab that ice cream, I mentioned above.

Outstanding food and service. Stopped here on the way to the beach and could not have asked for much better. Burger, onion rings, and the peppercorn ranch were awesome.

Just finished our meal from Ed’s Dairy Bar and had to leave a review right away! We’re heading home to Tuscaloosa from Sun Outdoors in Orange Beach and needed a lunch stop—so glad we found Ed’s new location in Grove Hill!

RV travelers, 5th wheels, and road trippers—do yourself a favor and plan a stop here. The parking is plentiful and easy to access, even with a big rig. The service is friendly, the food is hot and fresh, and the atmosphere gives that perfect dairy bar charm!

We tried the chili slaw hot dogs, a juicy hamburger with fries, crispy chicken tenders, and of course, a delicious milkshake. Everything was fantastic!

Ed’s is officially on our must-stop list for future trips. Thanks to the team for the great food and hospitality—see you next time!

We each had a catfish combo which included a choice of seafood (I got stuffed crab) and two sides (we got baked sweet potato, fried green tomatoes, and corn nuggets) and hush puppies. Amazing meal! There were endless orders being picked up while we waited - obviously a local favourite!
