Here on vacation for a few days. Stopped by one day for an early lunch. It was fantastic. I decided to have it again for dinner, and it did not disappoint. Great food with fast and friendly service.

Burrito was covered with a super salty sauce and taco had no seasoning at all. Bathroom was old and dirty and there was no diaper changing station in it. The server was nice but overall food quality was below average.

Really good Mexican food served by nice people. It’s not the most authentic Mexican you’ll ever eat, but in a little beach town like Gulf Shores you wouldn’t expect to find that. Affordable, nice portions, and tasty. What more could you want? 🤙

The most inviting, delicious Mexican restaurant on the island! The food is delicious, atmosphere, the drinks, and the STAFF! You can’t beat that. Our sons recommend to us, and we will continue to recommend as well. Tan bueno!

We were in the area visiting from Michigan and stopped in for dinner. We really enjoyed the Authentic taste and all the homemade salsas the cook offered us to try! Never had a spicy carrot salsa before but it is my new favorite 😍 Soooo good if you like that little kick. Portions were good, prices were good 👍 everything was great!
Came here for a quick after beach day dinner after seeing so many good reviews. I’m not one to make a fuss or leave bad reviews but this experience was inexcusable. Ordered the chips and queso which was fine. My boyfriend ordered a steak quesadilla which was fine and I ordered a chicken chimichanga. I began to eat it and after a few bites realized it tasted a little strange. Like it was canned chicken or something. Tore the chimichanga apart and the pinkest chicken I have ever seen in my life was in there. Along with those nasty little veins you see in raw chicken. I had no issue at all with the server and having worked in restaurants for a long time know it was absolutely not her fault. She was kind took the food back and removed it from the bill. So I ate a few bites of what looks to me like completely raw chicken. Beware when coming here at least check your food.

Cantina de la Luz catered our lunch with a taco bar - half authentic/half American and it was sooo delicious! Every single person at our retreat raved about how good the food was. It was also a great value for the price and we’re supporting a local business! Win win. We will definitely be back!

We ate here on vacation and had never been here before. But diffently will go back our next vacation. Everything was so good. Had shrimp cocktail (ceviche) and Mojarra Frita (fried whole fish) the best I've had.
