No Ms. Toni, will not go! Her AND Ms . Melodi leaving at the same time, had to leave for a reason. That's not a coincidence. They are the hardest workers in the industry I know. I went for them. I never cared for the food. All the good reviews have Ms Toni mentioned in it!

Had the hamburger steak and mashed potatoes, with fried okra for dinner tonight, and everything was excellent. Best okra I’ve had in a long time, and the service was fast and friendly! I’ll be back for the country fried steak.

We needed a place in the Gulf Shores area to meet up with some out of state friends yesterday for dinner. We had not eaten at Down South Kitchen before but decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The menu isn't extensive but it is varied with a good mix of foods. A couple of us had their daily special and it was delicious. The servings are plentiful, cooked to order, and we all left with a to-go container...but not until the four of us shared two of their wonderful...
