Looking forward to a hibachi meal to celebrate my fathers Birthday we’re seated quickly but when placing orders we decided to share one meal and although it does state sharing had a $10 extra charge the restaurant was empty 5 other hibachi tables were open. We were told that was a seating fee. I could understand if the restaurant was full but it wasn’t. When we tried to explain they said no so we left. They lost a potential sale of over 200 dollars over a 10 dollar seating fee.

By far, the best dinner we have had on Gulf Shores! Reasonably priced, huge servings and delicious food! 10 out of 10 recommend!

We hit up Mikato for Mom’s birthday bash,
A private room in the back, away from the splash.
Fifteen deep, ready to laugh and dine,
Everything was awesome, we had a great time!

But here’s a tip if you’re not gonna eat:
They’ll charge you ten bucks just for your seat.
Now, this makes sense in a big open space,
But in a private room, it feels out of place.
So grab your friend’s sushi if you don’t wanna pay,
That’s the secret trick to save the day!

Now Jimmy, our chef, what a dazzling pro,
Put on a show with a fiery glow!
Made us laugh, kept us grinning all night,
With jokes and tricks, his timing was tight.

Chicken’s texture? Not quite my groove,
But the shrimp? Oh, it sure made a move!
So here’s the deal, if you want a fun treat,
Mikato’s got flavor and chefs you should meet!

Food was great, prices were great and service was great. Went with friends for Hibachi. Our chef was fun and funny, just the way you like your Hibachi. Lol! It was so much food, we had left overs. It was just as good the next day, which I love. We will be back.

Kid-friendliness: Chef was great with kids. Plenty of jokes while preparing the food and popping the food in each kids mouth for a game of catch was fun.

Without a doubt the rudest staff most incompetent workers I have ever seen took over 45 minutes to get our sushi and our waitress was the most clueless person ever do not come here it is awful save your money and get some good seafood

The food and service was excellent. We had the fillet and chicken. Our sever was quick on the refills and polite. Jimmy was our chef. He put on a great show and the food was amazing.

Our chef was terrific. His name tag said Jimmy. He was personable and worked well with our group of 8. The place itself was decent. It was expensive overall with the fried rice being extra and the automatic gratuity. I was thinking 200-225 and it was 100 plus more. The hostess and manager were OK.

My mom ordered our food through the drive thru told the girl extra tartar sauce and a large fry and this is what we got.....
I've tried over and over with this Mcdonalds between horrible service and food but this has taken the Cake. I'm sick and needed something quick to eat and just smdh!!!
