Mudbugs quickly became THE vacation… we legit went every night. Whether it was busy or a weeknight and kinda chill, we lived for it. The staff - many we now call friends… are unreal. Wanna go somewhere that you can find every type of human and just let go of reality? I hope it is like that for you and yours…. We look for any and every reason to return now. Some peeps are looking for “things”… I dunno…. I love “feels” and good times. Cheers!
A group of friends and I stumbled upon Mudbugs during an overnight trip to Gulf Shores. Everything—except the $5 cover—was typical dive bar fare. We ordered shots of Espolon before sitting in the outdoors area out back. The bartender and bar patrons were friendly, and karaoke appeared to be a solid draw.
For a quick adventure in Gulf Shores, Mudbugs served its purpose well.

We always try to find karaoke places when we travel.... and this place (supposedly) does Karaoke nightly. The 3 nights in a row we went, they did have it.
It was a blast. It was a different crowd every night but always seemed to liven up after about 10pm. For as many people that were coming in and out, there were zero issues or drama that unfolded, always a plus in our books. We met some great people. The bartenders...
