Food was fine. Service was excellent. I found a piece of glass in my gumbo. Good thing I didn’t swallow it. The waitress said $8 was taken off the bill to say they were sorry. I saw another customer being served gumbo & I asked the waitress if they got a new pot & didn’t continue serving out of the pot where my cup came from. She said it was a new pot.

We ate at a Shrimp Basket restaurant in Evergreen, AL yesterday on our way to Gulf Shores and we like the restaurant chain so much we decided top eat at this one today.
My wife said that she was going to venture out and not order her favorite, but she chickened out and ordered a shrimp poorboy anyway. She ordered sweet potato fries as a side, but the poorboy came with regular French fries. When she alerted the server, she brought her the sweet potato fries in addition to the regular fries. We took a lot with us in a styrofoam box. She said everything was excellent.
I did venture out and ordered the coconut shrimp instead of my usual shrimp basket. My sides were she slaw and new potato’s. I have to admit that I didn’t enjoy the coconut shrimp quite as much as my usual fried shrimp, but they were very good.
Our server was excellent, friendly and very attentive.

Some of the best service we had in G.S. Friendly, fast, casual, and fun vibes. The hot sauce is also a must purchase to take home!
