Well we were seated immediately. However, we waited nearly 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us. So we left. The hostesses said thanks for coming in. Which was weird because we had only been there for 15 minutes. I am just sad because it had a beautiful view of the bay and seemed like it could have been a great time. I hope that the owners see this and speak to their employees about at least acknowledging a customer and getting them a water or some beverage. 1 star but if I could I would do 0

I can’t stay silent anymore, this place has changed me… it’s given me a purpose. If you’re looking for a place with some of the best food you’ll ever eat on the gulf, then this is the spot to be! The environment, food, and service was amazing. Everything is always cooked fresh when I order and brought out in a good timely manner.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Tacky Jacks for years, and it used to be my favorite spot. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a huge disappointment. I ordered a grouper sandwich, expecting the usual quality, but what I received was scraps of fish—not even a proper fillet—on a toasted hamburger bun for $25. The wilted lettuce added to the poor presentation. When the waitress asked how the meal was, I shared my dissatisfaction, but she didn’t even respond.
The decline in both service and food quality is sad to see. After visiting dozens of times, this experience was a major letdown. It’s clear that the place could benefit from new management and much better quality control to ensure customers get the kind of experience they’re paying for.
