Our family of 3 came here this afternoon for lunch. We are on the last day of vacation and wanted to try this place as it was recommended to us. We ordered the seafood queso as an appetizer, fish + shrimps platter, and a chicken kids meal. All of our food was honestly disappointing. Very greasy, chicken was chewy, seafood queso was barely warm, and the shrimp/fish was dripping grease when we bit into it. I would save your $80 and go elsewhere. Our server was great and attentive. We really liked her. The food was just not worth the $ we spent.

For lunch, this place was unclean. Had to request that our table be cleaned of sticky food, and swept below table. Food was below expected quality.

I tried to take into account that it is off-season in Gulf Shores, Alabama (November 2024) but that does not excuse rudeness of the staff. A group of 11, wedding dinner, many different orders...1 waitress then the manager assisted her because she got behind. The food, everyone but groom and bride paid for their own meal(s). My meal was not worth $50 at all, when I asked for more ice I thought the waitress was going to a little nasty but when person sitting next to me asked for another coke I actually went "humph"...what is that??? Everyone has said Tacky Jack's is the greatest, well in my opinion (and 10 other people) very disappointed!

Parking: It looks like it is small but I thought parking was good.

Great place for a family outing when at the beach. Kids love the duck tape on the walls. Food is good also.

Tacky Jacks is just that. A cool tacky hangout. We dropped in for apps and a beer and cocktail or two.
The whole place is decorated in colorful duct tape that you can write your name on and leave it behind for a memory.

We sat at the bar and had the smoked tuna dip. Very good and some refreshing beers. The bartender suggested we try their Bushwacker with a chocolate drizzle. Very good, but with the 151 rum floaters on top I can see how these might sneak up on you.

This is a two story place with a lot of room. There was a nice outdoor area for pets too but it was raining while we were visiting so we stayed inside.

Bartenders are engaging and fun. Stop in if you're in the area.

Not sure what is going on in this place, it was weird, there is colored duct tape EVERYWHERE. The food was all right, the service was great with Mr. Michael. $100.00 with 2 people and 1 mixed drink. Wasn't really worth it.
