Stephanie, ABE Ownership, it pains me to say, that the lack of response by ownership, when informed about your management teams actions during a difficult time, reflects your business ethos. Bobby and Michaela's actions of bullying, harassment, and threats towards employees on Broken Egg property is uncalled for and should not be tolerated. Threats and bullying to someone in a vulnerable state can lead to one causing harm to themselves. Words have meanings and if something happens to one of these employees due to your management teams actions it will ultimately reflect upon you and your business. Mental health is real and should be taken seriously by Ownership.

I visit here about 2 times a month and I have to say it has never disappointed me. The food is always on point and the service has always been phenomenal. Our usual server Isabella is awesome. She checks on us often and always makes sure the drinks stay full. The manager Bobby is really nice as well. He runs a tight crew and keeps the kitchen busy getting out the orders in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable for the food and the service, not to mention the incredible view over the water. If you haven't been, I would definitely suggest you give it a try and ask for Isabella as your server. You won't be disappointed.

I want to thank the manager, Bobby and our server, Alexis for an awesome experience. The food was on point and the Service was great. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio watching the boats on the lake. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Beautiful location right on Lake Guntersville. Food was top notch as always, but service was little slow to deliver food and refill drinks. I give them a bit of a pass due to the crowd on the deck, but still not too hard to touch base with each table.

A very special breakfast menu far from any average place. Really enjoyed the food. Has a bar also. My wife had her first Irish coffee with our breakfast and loved it.

The food was amazing, but the service was horrible. Specifically the hostess/girl at the front was SO rude and disrespectful to my boyfriend when we were just trying to pick up our food⌠as a waitress first hand the attitude and behavior we were given was very unprofessional and unnecessary

I had a great experience on Saturday morningâour server, Michaela, took care of us and the manager was visible and making table visits. The food was excellent, and although service was a bit slow, it felt attentive.
However, Sunday morning was a completely different experience.
I asked the host where to place a to-go order, and she told me to sit under the TVs. I waited there for 20 minutes without being acknowledged, even though multiple servers and bartenders walked right past me. When I was finally addressed, I was told to give it a minute, which turned into another 10 minutes.
I moved to the bar hoping to speed things upâthinking that if I ordered a drink and food together, Iâd be taken care of. I sat there for another 5 to 10 minutes, still ignored. The bartenders seemed to be running around with no clear communication or system in place.
By the time I finally received a menu, I had been waiting 30 minutes total and was ready to order immediately. I ordered a Bloody Maria and breakfast. The drink arrived with no garnishâand although the bartender acknowledged it and said sheâd bring it, it never came. It also took another 10 minutes just to get the drink.
In total, I spent over an hour and 30 minutes trying to place a to-go order and eat, and when my food finally came, it was still incorrect.
I understand Sundays are busy, but being completely ignored, waiting endlessly, and then being served incorrect food and an unfinished drink is not acceptable. I even spoke with a manager while I was there, and he said, âYeah, we really need to reevaluate whoâs working the bar.â If thatâs the caseâwhy isnât something being done?
I also sent this feedback via email and havenât received any response. I wasnât trying to leave this as a public review, but the lack of follow-up left me no other option.

We came in on a Sunday and several tables were empty. We were told it was a 15-20 min wait, no issues. 5 min later we were texted that our table was ready. We were seated and waited 15 min for someone to wait on us. The young lady who was in the section ignored us, only waited on the table behind us and the family who was seated before us barely received any see ice or attention from her. She was a young lady and seemed she paid attention to her friends seated in her area and not other customers. Alexa, who was working the bar area come and waited on us and apologized profusely for not being waited on. She was wonderful and if it were not for her, we would have walked out.
This place needs to work on their customer service skills and train their staff to be attentive and not ignore customers

The food was good for the most part but a lot of it you can just make at home and we waited just over an hour for food. When we got there initially it took about 15 minutes before anyone said they would be right with us and then take the order. I specifically asked for a kids meal with chocolate milk and an extra plate stating that the kids would share, when it came out she brought 2 chocolate milks I didnât initially think anything of it because a lot of places have done that, then the food came and she brought 2 plates of food for the kids, again not thinking anything of it assuming maybe they split it in the back room to make it easier-again several places do this as we eat out regularly-my kids are very small 2 and just turned 4, they donât eat much let alone an entire meal. When we ordered our food we got just waters and a spiked lemonade, was asked if we would like our potatoâs to have onion bacon and cheese-most places only have $1-1.50 up charge so we assumed similar and added it, that was our mistake as our meals added $3 to each. The waitress was very friendly, social, upbeat but didnât hear most of what we said. We could have brought some of this up but they didnât bring the check until after their closing time and we didnât want to bother.
