Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We had the Monday chicken and rice special and it was outstanding. Our waitress was very pleasant and was prompt in keeping our drinks refilled. There was a roaring fire in the fireplace which made for a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

Good food and new check in app makes it a lot easier to get a seat on busy days. Food service is great and waitstaff is awesome.

Not sure why the togo/hosts always have an issue with doing their jobs. Anytime i get a meal togo( at least 2 times a month at this location ) they always have an attitude and never give me the silverware or sauces i ask for. I normally pick up in side now because i have to open up every box making sure they packed everything and ALWAYS have to ask for sauce and silverware. which is always given a blank “whatever” face and in return im waiting at least 5 minutes for sauce everytime. they ask on the phone so im not sure why its a every time issue. this store has been absolutely down hill for years. im not sure what the managers are doing but hiring people who could care less to be there, consistently everytime i go everyone acts like this it makes me not want to go there anymore. people have bad days but it’s EVERYTIME.

This is for the Guntersville Al location. I Used to love Cracker Barrel, but after tonight I will absolutely not be back. Got seated at a table with dirty dishes on it, not a huge deal. However the waitress had an abysmal attitude from the beginning. When our food was brought out, my wifes plate was completely wrong. She ordered the fried pork chops (the dish she always gets as it's her favorite), and requested white gravy on the side. She was brought chops covered with chicken gravy and no white gravy. And by the time the waitress came back, she actually argued with my wife on what she ordered. And after waiting she came out and grabbed just the chops, leaving the sides to get cold. And then brought out two chops with white gravy on the side, however the new chops were tough as shoe leather and mostly gristle. My dish was the roast, which came out with barely any roast, but at least 4 cups of watery gravy and vegetables. The roast was the toughest, most chewy roast I've ever eaten and the mashed potatoes that came with it were 100% old and had the texture of raw dough. After waiting even longer for the waitress, we requested a manager and never got to see one.

Will 100000000% never return to this location after this.
Wasted money and time on a dinner we didn't even get to eat yet still had to pay for.

Not suitable for vegans or vegetarians. We ordered the veggie sides plate. The turnip greens and pinto beans were full of meat, even though we specifically asked and were told they didn't contain meat. There's no dairy milk alternatives like soy milk or oat milk, and there's no vegan salad dressings such as balsamic vinaigrette. Also, didn't see any impossible sausages available on the menu we were given. Way overpriced for the quality of the food.

Vegetarian options: They do no have good vegetarian options.

We have been getting the catering for the last 3 years for Christmas from Guntersville and we have never been disappointed with our order being ready, hot and delicious! Thank you so much for taking the stress of cooking away so we can enjoy the holiday together!

Not a fan of CB, but finally a good experience. Only ate here with family because we had a long wait for a new battery being installed at Walmart. Our food was correct, the server was awesome, and the food was good.

So inconsistent. Once again the Cracker Barrel in my area has gotten bad. Went for lunch yesterday. Food was inedible. Service not great. Biscuits were so hard, cold, flat and overcooked. Bacon was basically raw even though I ordered crispy. Eggs were tough and burned and I ordered soft scrambled. Tea was weak and had zero flavor. Very bad experience. Won't be back at this location (Guntersville Alabama).

Cracker Barrel just isn't what it used to be. It being Cmas Eve, they had a limited menu. We had a rocky start with our waitress, but she turned out ok. She didn't check n us often or keep our drinks full. Bacon was on the verge of being undercooked, and the gravy sadly tasted straight out of a packet. It's the saddest thing to see a beer menu here...

On 12/28.
Took my husband's family out for a nice dinner. Around 3:30- 4:00pm. It was a horrible experience, we waited for 20mins for a waitress to come to our table and ask for drinks. Had a very snotty attitude. Then messed up my husband's order, he asked for a chicken BLT sandwich. Brought out two pieces of bread lettuce and mayo no chicken. Made this aware the waitress started arguing with me about his order, we said it incorrectly but honestly she heard it incorrectly. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I personally will never be stepping in the restaurant again & going forward telling other people my experience.

Wheelchair accessibility: None in the front of the store all on the side which made it difficult for my uncle to enter the restaurant

The one in our area is so inconsistent and in a bad way. I literally walked out yesterday and won't be back. Guntersville Alabama.
