Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My husband and I had a nice dinner at Cracker Barrel tonight. Our server, Aly, was amazing, attentive, and funny. The food was great and delivered timely. It felt more like Cracker Barrel pre-Covid. We even got bread BEFORE our food came just like old times. Keep it up! Well done y’all.

Out of pot roast and bake chicken and then order dumplings and did not get them.

I was was very disappointed this evening with our service. our group was sat at 06:10 pm and we didn't see a server for 20- 30 minutes. Other than biscuits and muffins, we didn't see any food for over an hour. I do not believe that it was out waitress' fault but possibly management as it seemed like she didn't even know we were her table. The manager was less than helpful and somewhat dismissive. This was on the evening of 19 September. We have had great service for breakfast in the past. First time to eat dinner there and most likely the last.

My wife and I had the pot roast and it was delicious! Came out piping hot and tasted freshly made. Can't remember the server's name but she was good. Very good experience all the way around.

Had a delicious breakfast for hubby and lunch for me. Everything was cooked just right (fried catfish for me) and our waitress super nice.

It's not as good as it used to be. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen. Staff was great and always enjoy seeing their new merchandise.

There's not much Southern hospitality left in this Cracker Barrel. No kids menus, so I'm guessing management dropped the ball on this one. How can you mess this one up? Update: The canned response from Cracker Barrel is useless. The link provided no response.

our service was good at the Guntersville AL location. I love to shop while we wait for our meal to be served. I just recently heard there was going to be changes to the restaurant as a whole from what i heard that is a very bad mistake. I know I won't be shopping or eating with you.

This past Friday, I had dinner at Cracker Barrel and ordered the Maple Bacon Chicken—it was absolutely delicious. While dining, I noticed the manager, Aaron, actively assisting his team in several ways. He was bussing tables, helping seat guests, and moving in and out of the kitchen, all while checking on guests throughout the dining room.

When he stopped by my table, he introduced himself as a new manager and asked how everything was. I told him how much I enjoyed the Maple Bacon Chicken, and he kindly shared that it was a seasonal item that would be leaving soon. What stood out most, however, was his attitude. When I commented on how busy he seemed, he said, “That’s what I’m here for. I want my team to know I’ll help however I can. If I can keep them happy, they’ll keep the guests happy.”

That kind of leadership really shows. Aaron was approachable, attentive, and genuinely cared about both the staff and the guest experience. This is exactly why my family continues to choose Cracker Barrel—the food is wonderful, the environment is warm and welcoming, and people like Aaron make the experience exceptional. Thank you for hiring managers who truly put people first.
