Great atmosphere but no drink specials for the weekend or anytime actually. Totally crowded too. Feels like they could definitely do better so I’m only giving 2 stars

A bar with above average bar food. Fun place with an open atmosphere and great service. Stuffed chicken was very good as was grilled tuna. Blackened catfish was fair at best. More of grilled in oil. My family and I would definitely go there again. Very good desserts. Strong mixed drinks.

It was a great place to eat! Laid back but really great food. We had stuffed shrimp, blackened catfish, cheese ravioli with grilled chicken. Plus, the fire balls for appetizer. All was cooked good and all was presented nice.

Visited Fire by the Lake and came away with mixed feelings. I ordered the habanero pepper spice chicken wings, but they were disappointingly dried out and lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. The French fries came out cold and soggy, which didn’t help. On a better note, the onion rings were decent, and to my surprise, I actually enjoyed a piece of catfish—something I usually don’t go for. Someone else at the table also had the catfish and thought it was excellent.
The overall food quality was underwhelming for most of our group. Several were disappointed with both taste and temperature, although a few were satisfied with their meals.
Given the inconsistency, I’m not sure I’ll be back, but I hope this was just an off day for them.

Worst food I have ever got there tonite I was so disappointed me and my girlfriend took my brother and his wife there and everything was horrible ,, soggy greasy fries and my catfish wasn’t even done every one’s fries were just soggy in grease is was just so disappointing and still cost 91$ after complaining to the waitress may not give them another try … this was bad!!

A group from Marshall Fitness Arthritis Pool went for lunch. We had extra people and they moved tables to accommodate us. They cheerfully provided saucers for a cake that one of our members made. They made our lunch enjoyable. One of our group did not like her mashed potatoes, but that was the only bad comment I heard.

Husband and I had the filet mignon. It was perfectly cooked and delicious! The atmosphere is very laid back and the service was fantastic (thanks Michele!)!

The facility has many handicap parking spots but vehicle bumpers overlap the sidewalk causing an issue of using the sidewalk. Also, a deck has been built on said sidewalk that makes it impossible for a wheelchair or walker to pass by without getting off of sidewalk and and returning to parking lot which puts you behind parked vehicles that is close to a busy highway and the entrance to this facility. Bottom line is, no easy way for disabled people to enter the facility.
Does NOT look as nice as these photos appear first off. It’s a nasty hole in the wall with a nasty looking junkyard out back. The restaurant is obviously owned by some foreigners. It is more of a bar than a restaurant. The fish shown in the photos is false advertising because the only fish on the menu was a fish sandwich. Can’t really rate the food because we sat down and were asked to put our firearm in the vehicle IN ALABAMA! My firearm is a part of my job and I’m surely not leaving it in a vehicle in the middle of junkyard land.
So we left! Again, this IS ALABAMA not a democratic state!

Great local bar and restaurant right on the water. Both inside and outside seating available. We just had appetizers, but they were really good. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. Want to watch a game? This is the place! Will definitely be back.
