The food is cold and so bland you’ll find better food at a nursing home. As soon as our plates came out the food was found to be cold. I was absolutely shocked that these southern women do not know how to cook. I would not recommend eating here unless you just want a dessert. The carrot cake was excellent other than that everything else was absolutely terrible.

Food was awesome, plentiful and reasonably priced. ❤️ Staff was super nice and Mimi introduced herself and told us a little of her history. Very enjoyable encounter...and delish food too!

The name is all wrong. I thought it was a bakery. It is not! They didn't have anything when I went.

Delicious food, great service. If you are looking for home cooked meals. Mimi’s is the one. She also has bakery items too. Open Wednesday thru Sunday 10am - 2pm. Rayburn st Guntersville Alabama.

Having a cozy bungalow as the venue definitely gives Mimi's an advantage in my book! BUT it's ALSO what can be a bit off-putting. You see, the interior is more like someone's house--that isn't quite ready for company ???????????? A few items on the menu had been depleted--although I don't think they HAVE a menu! We just chatted with our friendly server who let us know what choices were left. Both chicken spaghetti and meatloaf were left. We went with the spaghetti and liked our food very much. It was served on vintage (mismatched) dinnerware. So it's a real mix here...sorta like stopping by a friend's house...with a rather shabby interior but friendly hard-working folks. So, I would say, it all depends on what you enjoy/expect when eating out ????

Absolutely terrible. They clearly don't know how to plan catering events. A couple of us signed up for a dinner cruise and Mimi's caters it. We were the last ones and ALL the food was gone except for this minced meat and canned green beans. They had the audacity to give us basically one bite of potatoes and call it a serving when we watched everyone ahead of us have healing plates of chicken, potatoes, & cornbread. That was just poor planning. One of my friends didn't even get a cornbread scrap and they gave her more ground beef like that was acceptable. The food was bland too. I wouldn't get food from this place if it was the only place left open in that town. When I said they didn't plan it well her response was she made half chicken and half beef. Well, clearly that was a bad idea and you still didn't make enough side dishes. Nobody and I mean NOBODY wanted that ground beef. The lies were gross too... the dough was like leftover pastry dough with canned apple filling and a bunch of granulated sugar dumped on top of it.Unless something major changes, absolutely don't get food here or you'll be disappointed
