Updating to add: we traveled all the way to Chicago to try Giordano’s. Pizza Ed’s deep dish is MUCH better. A true improvement over the classic.
Excellent deep dish pizza! We were incredibly shocked by how perfect it was, we’ll definitely visit again.

They DO NOT have Chicago style pizza, they just put their Detroit style in a round pan and charge extra…..there was 3 tables other than us and two groups of two at the bar, but they still could get our food out together, there was only four of us. One appetizer came out on time, we had to cancel the second after 20 minutes, but they still brought it out and lied about a computer issue in the kitchen. We know the server lied about because she told us it would only be another 5 minutes after the first app came out. We didn’t get drink refills done until 3 of the 4 were done eating. We asked for extra marinara that took at least 15 minutes to come out, and when it finally did come, the containers were stacked ON TOP of the last pizza that came 20+ minutes after the other food…..on top of the pizza….

Absolutely delicious! I’d never had true deep dish pizza before. So, so good! Call ahead as it takes a while to cook! Huge “side” salad with amazing dressing. Generous military discount. Kind service. A must stop if you love pizza.

We visited last Saturday during spring break at the Guntersville location. The staff were awesome and busting their tails getting orders taken and food out quickly. We had a large group and we were very pleased! Our pizzas were hot and delicious!! The Cubby, Chicken Alfredo, Bacon Cheeseburger and The Hawaiian were all hits!

Pizza Ed’s catered a wedding at our venue in November 2024 and the service was excellent. The food was hot and right on time!!
We also eat at the Hartselle location frequently!! Always friendly and great service!
