The grilled chicken was overcooked and very chewy, and we waited an hour for the food to arrive. The chicken on pizza was chewy too. The restaurant is located next to the highway, so sitting outside wasn’t very pleasant.

As I sit here writing this it is 1:45 mins no food. The owner/manager came out 15 mins ago and said we are working on it. Seriously? We had a large reservation made over 2 weeks ago. It's not like they didn't know we were coming. The entire restaurant is empty and we are still sitting here. This was my first time here and definitely my last. How do you not offer bread, appetizers something? What a complete failure of customer service. Apparently they are not worried about us. This was a party of 20 that will probably spend over $2,000.00..Just FYI...it's a locally owned establishment and they could care less if you sit for hours. The worse experience I have ever had...and...they charged up full price never offered a discount.

Rock House is the best restaurant in North Alabama. Its food is always good. Their soup is a must have every time I go. Their Deluxe Bloody Mary is off the chart. I’ve never had a bad experience, and the food is always the very best. Steaks are second to none. This is truly a “clean, well-lighted” place and the food, service, and atmosphere are some of the best you’ll ever experience.
