We were very impressed with Rock House. We had brunch and it was perfect. First of all I had the best Bloody Mary I ever had (the deluxe Bloody Mary.) We shared the sampler containing tomato pie, spinach quiche, and French toast, along with shrimp and grits. Everything was excellent, but the shrimp and grits was our fav. I’d like to return for the dinner menu.

Service was great (we were greeted outside before we even made it to the front door). The food was fantastic, although we did wait a bit for the food, it was worth the wait. The steaks had really good flavor and were cooked perfectly. The cocktails were great, and they have a good locally brewed beer selection and great wine selection. It was my birthday so they brought out some chocolate cake on the house after the meal.

What I expected at Brunch on Sunday, was a chef-inspired good meal. I ordered the chicken and waffles. What I got were literally eggo frozen waffles, and pre-made frozen chicken. It was horrible. It was was $14.50! What a shame.

It is a wonderful restaurant with good food, excellent staff, fun location, but too pricy! When you spend $60 for lunch to include tip and one cocktail, you can not go very often. I recommend an affordable lunch menu during the week, plus a daily bar special for couples and friends to enjoy a nice lunch without breaking the budget.

My wife and I dined with y’all last night for our 10th anniversary. We’ve had 3 anniversaries at the Rock. .We shared a bottle of wine, and it was delicious. Her David’s chicken, and my pork chop, were incredible yet again. Fabulous. Anytime someone mentions going to Guntersville, I recommend your restaurant. No other restaurant can touch your quality. Bar area nasty. Flying insects on the drink fruit, left uncovered, even though the container has a flip over cover...bar tender took out the trash returned to the bar and didn't wash his hands. Cluttered bar station, strange odor, has not been deep cleaned in years. Food was ok at best. I ate hear several years ago, ordered prime rib, it's was from a single serve package, tough and tasteless. This was my second visit, it's still terrible. Guntersville has several better places to eat.

We live in Huntsville but are in Guntersville for most weekends in the summer. Between both locations this is our favorite restaurant. We’ve been coming here for 5+ years. A wonderful experience and delicious food. Sit outside at night if it’s not too hot!
