Normally Sakura is a wonderful visit, but these last few times I’ve noticed some glaring issues that need to be adressed. Generally speaking, the wait times are ludicrous for the amount of guests in the building. There have been times that we would be the only table seated, yet it took nearly an hour for the chef to arrive. The waiters/waitresses ask one time if we would like refills and don’t ask again after that. It doesn’t help that they only ask shortly after giving us our drinks, not even giving time for us to finish our drinks. And then the biggest issue: the chefs will NOT listen. All of the last several times I have ordered, I have ordered steak. The chefs insist on giving me exactly 2 shrimp every time. I can get behind the idea of “sharing is caring” but not only do I not care, but it’s also a safety hazard. Thankfully, I am not allergic to shellfish, but imagine a scenario in which I was. I ordered steak for a reason, and if I was allergic to shellfish and the chef served me shrimp on top of my steak and rice, I’d need an Epipen pronto or I’d be out to the pasture. It’s dangerous and it’s not smart. I love eating here but there needs to be some changes.

Food was awful. My chicken tasted like soap. The scalps were not cooked. They did not care about how bad the food was they said it was us. I will never be back!!!

Parking: There were several people inside and still plenty of parking left over
Everything was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked.
The crab wonton was cooked to order and very good.
The Kani salad was amazing with No Cucumber
The stir fry was so tasteful and cooked perfectly.
Anna was very nice and helpful. She was patient as I enjoyed my meal and I never felt rushed like I do at other Japanese Steak houses.

Very friendly atmosphere. I had hibachi but my son and grandson had sushi. It was very fresh and they were very happy with it.
