Dixie Den is a little hole in the wall sandwich / ice cream shop. However the food is very delicious. The menu consists of simple sandwiches , salads ,hot dogs and homemade desserts. The perfect lunch bistro and a great place to take the kids for a treat after school.

Great little restaurant located in downtown Haleyville. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and plate. Both very good. Husband also ordered a cherry cream pie—excellent, homemade by the owners. Our two lunches, one drink and a dessert only cost twelve dollars and some change. We will be back.

I ate lunch with my son, Trent. We both got a Deluxe Hoagie and an Oreo Delight for dessert. It was delicious. The staff is always super friendly. The food was served fast with no wait time. I highly recommend eating here!

Great food, clean older restaurant, and friendly, fast service. I ordered the vegetable soup with 2 chicken salad sliders and sweet tea. I have also had their potato soup and chicken salad sandwiches. Everything I have ordered from there never disappoints. Be sure to try their strawberry cake, pecan pie or peanut butter pie for desert. It's all good.
