Russell's Rising Smoke offers good food and prompt service. The staff cares about serving the public. Menu items like the steak and mashed potatoes are highly recommended. Their loaded baked taters with all the meats and stuff is so friggin yummy. They have BIG dessert shakes that customers should try. Portion sizes are big. The restaurant has the best BBQ pork and smoked chicken around, with flavorful sauces. The pulled pork is so good it doesn't need the sauce, but with it, it's amazing. The chicken and pork barbecue sandwiches are absolutely awesome, and the banana pudding is a must-try. The rib plate is very flavorful and fall off the bone, and the grilled chicken sandwich has really nice pieces of white meat chicken.
