I love this place. Love the green salsa & al pastor burritos. You can't go wrong with that combination. Workers are very friendly

This is one of 3 reviews, that will have the same introduction! I decided to do my own version of a "taco crawl" and tested out 3 taco trucks I've driven by and have been wanting to try out! All 3 are in the SGV, and I'm SO glad to have tried them! El Pastorcito Taco II is outside of the Arcadia Park off Santa Anita Ave & just south of Huntington Drive. Based on the name, Al Pastor is their specialty, so naturally I picked out the Al Pastor taco! With a smokey flavor, onions & cilantro and a nicely sliced piece of pineapple topping the taco, it was worth the $2.50 it cost, and was rich in taste! Staff here were friendly, though it wasn't a super busy weekday evening. No seating here, which is totally fine, and it is by a big parking lot, so plan ahead to eat in your car, especially since you want to eat it hot & fresh! No worries though, everything comes on a Styrofoam tray, works great! A decent variety of other items on their menu as well - definitely a go-to when I want to get some legit al pastor tacos!

Siempre los mejores tacos; sabrosos y accesibles. Mejor atención, amigables y atentos. Siempre recomendado.

If you are really in the mood for some tasty, flavorful Mexican food then look no further. El Pastorcito Taco has all that you need!!! Stopped by the taco truck just to take a look at the menu to see what they offered, and I was amazed by the variety of food options on the menu for a Mexican food truck. In my experience, most Mexican food trucks tend to keep it simple offering tacos, burritos, and tortas. El Pastorcito Taco is LITERALLY a Mexican restaurant on wheels! I ordered the Alambre, with a side of rice and beans. And let me tell you, this did NOT disappoint. The flavor from the bacon, beef, ham, & chorizo, mixed with fresh bell peppers & onions... topped off by the cheese?!?!? Damn! It was an experience. I didn't want to stop eating it! The beans were so good. I honestly can't even describe it. They weren't watered down like some places. The taste was rich & pure, with a smokey flavor. The rice was fluffy, and vibrant! I went during dinner time. There was no line when I arrived, and as I'm waiting for my food, a crazy line started to develop. The community definitely supports this business for sure! I would love to find a food truck serving Albondigas, Menudo, or Frijoles Charro, perfect for the chilly weather. Can't wait to visit this place again!

This is my favorite taco truck in the area. I used to drive to Temple City for their first location before realizing they opened one in Arcadia during COVID. The truck is parked right next to the Santa Anita Park parking lot entrance (on Santa Anita Ave). It's located next to a stop light so easy to see and pull into the lot for parking.I love their cabeza tacos, nachos and sauces. Out of all the different trucks I've been to, El Pastorcito Taco is the most generous with the toppings on the nachos (I love me some cheese). Only downside here is that they don't serve pink radish and there have been 1 or 2 occasions where the nacho chips were stale.

Love coming here for their lengua tacos because they use a whole piece and not chopped like other places. The meat is also super tender. I also like their brisket tacos because the meat is really juicy. Their quesadillas are big so I feel like it's worth the price but the flavor was just ok. Even though they put a decent amount of meat, I can hardly taste the meat and felt like I was just eating cheese. Service is good. Workers are friendly and I always get my order pretty quickly. I just wish they put more onions and cilantro on their tacos. I asked them once to put more but I felt like it looked the same from the times when I didn't ask. They are located right next to Arcadia park so there are plenty of parking.

Come here for their salsas and tacos. When you're here, the guy named Jorge is the man! I recommend their al pastor tacos all the time. These guys at the truck do provide a fun and entertaining show when you wait. Service is good and the food is hygienic and delicious, so I come 1-2 times weekly. When you're at the church going for a sermon and spiritual food, see a pastor. When you're at the Mexican food truck and you see these God-sent guys in Arcadia County Park for physical food, you gotta have the tacos al pastor! I am telling you that these guys do provide good service and food simultaneously. Lastly, try their salsas and the heat is perfect on the spot!Jorge and the crew, gracias!

Located at the parking lot of the Arcadia Park, there's lots of parking spots available. Food came out within minutes, and the food was decent quality (most of the taco trucks I've gone to have been on the greasier side.) Only tried their tacos, but they're pretty good. Got a brisket, lengua, and cabeza taco - the meats were tender and juicy with crisp edges. They give both a red and a green salsa, and limes to add to your tacos.

My husband is a truck driver and everytime we are in this area we have to stop here. Amazing street tacos and tamales and the food is given to you hot. Love this food truck!

Quick service, reasonable prices and great food. The taco truck is in the parking lot of a very large park and the busy traffic on Santa Anita Ave. We had the Lengua, Al pastor, Suadero and Asada tacos. Would highly recommend this place for anyone in town.

2.5 stars overall. Tip: THEY CHARGE $1 FOR CC!We had been at the hospital for a couple hours and it was late by the time we finally left. I found this food truck off Yelp and was excited to see both people waiting to order and waiting to pick up their food but I have mixed feelings about this food truck lol.The good(ish):+_the brisket and Al pastor: we got a few tacos and burritos. The best were the brisket and Al pastor. The brisket was flavorful and the Al pastor was tasty. The not so great:+_skip the pineapple Aqua Fresca, it tasted fermented. We didn't intend on ordering it but ended up with it. It was initially a nice surprise until we tasted it. It tasted like it had been a week or two too old, literally almost tasted like alcohol. It didn't feel good drinking it.+_No sign or before hand notice on $1 CC charge. I'm fine with it when businesses tell you but it's a little annoying when they don't. The person who rang me up told me after he charged me and as he handed me the receipt. +_I wouldn't order the burritos again. Even the Al pastor one as a little disappointing. Maybe I'm spoiled or something but idr the Al pastor burrito having anything else other than rice and meat. I guess I was expecting a little more. I split an asada burrito that I brought home with me the next day and I just remember not feeling the greatest after eating it. Total for 5 tacos, 2 burritos, and an Aqua Fresca came out to about $36. Maybe I was turned off by the pineapple Aqua Fresca or maybe the asada meat wasn't fresh either, either way... I don't think I'll be back for a while.

They do great foods and better than restaurants. I buy at least two and three times a week. Especially they give choice of taco sauce as you like.

I love these tacos!! They have this truck and one in temple city.I usually get lengua and cabeza. Their lengua is a whole piece and not chopped which I like. Their medium and hot salsa are both great and they give cucumbers!Park in the lot right next to the truck - super easy! FYI they charge $1 for card but don't always tell you that... so bring cash!
