We took a motorcycle ride today and were looking for a new place to go, so we Googled wineries near us and found Morgan Lake Vineyards. It was early in the day. Caroline did a tasting for us, taking time to explain each selection and answer our questions about them, the winery, and just conversation in general. Enjoyed our tasting with Paula, very knowledgeable about the varieties of muscadine wines and friendly too. We very much enjoyed this beautiful organic winery. Will be back for the cahaba white
Went to the Grape Stomp a few years ago and had a blast. It's where we became familiar with Morgan Creek wines and we've been buying them ever since. They have a great gift shop, too. Looking forward to visiting again.
