The food was delicious. Absolutely try the fried green tomatoes. We went Friday night at dinner and there was a gentleman playing contemporary covers with his violin. Roxy was our server and she was so friendly. This place is a hidden gem!

My parents and sister and I stopped to eat at the Freight House Restaurant in Downtown Hartselle for the first time ever and that was on Saturday April 12 2025 of this year and this was also the first time we had ever been through Downtown Hartselle especially since we’ve always been on the I-65 part of the city so this was not only nice for a change but everyone at the Freight House Restaurant was so friendly and welcoming and so kind and the food was so great and what was...

We stopped by here for something “different” on the way from Hunstville for a dance competition. Excellent food, friendly staff, and wonderful service!! We will definitely be back when we are around the area!
