I stopped by on my way home and decided to get a bbq stuffed potato and I admit when I got home and started eating it was amazing. The taste of the meat, sauce and large portions make definitely worth trying. I can’t wait to go back and eat

Best BBQ sauce I’ve ever tasted in 40 years. I haven’t used Facebook more than twice in about 7 years, so if I like your food enough to redownload the app just to leave a review, you know I mean it… and I gotta say if you can somehow make a plate of loaded fries my favorite thing on the menu at a BBQ restaurant, idk what you’re doing but you’re doing it right!

Holy Smoke is the best BBQ anywhere!! Their sauces are homemade and taste amazing! Also, their baked beans are literally the best I have ever eaten. I wish they had more locations, but until they put one in Decatur, I will continue to drive to Hartselle! (It’s worth it!!)
On 9/5/24 around 6:30 p.m. I went in to order a to go order. As I placed my order there was confusion as to whether or not they were out. They stood there discussing it for a few minutes when I decided to ask if it was too much trouble to just look and see. They stared at me like a deer in the headlights, so I just changed my order. When I got home I noticed I was over charged and the meat was dried out. Very disappointed as I have been going there for a very long time, I live just behind their old location and went to it for years. Not really sure what is going on, but I may have to find somewhere else to go.

This is one of the best places to eat!!! I used to live reeves peach market out on hwy36, but it doesn't even hold a candle to holy smoke!! Chicken: HS falls off the bone, juicy, tender! Their white sauce is killer!! Reeves you struggle to get the chicken off the bone. ( thier sauces are very good) Ribs: holy smoke again the meat is sooooo tender and moist!! Such huge portions!!! Can't brag enough on this place... the owners are sincere, and so kind!! The workers are good kids!!

Sauce is good pork is super dry and tasteless quick service bad food won't go back, changed it up this time because we normally use the other folks across town but this always got good reviews it seems but I guess the AI is real and it likes money lol because there's no way this place has a legit 4.5 stars and if you don't believe me I dare you to try it.

I needed a good take away meal to set me out on the right foot for a long 500 mile drive. I decided on the chicken tenders and fries. They were the perfect choice! Portability and full of flavor, especially with the crinkle cut fries. Made my tummy very happy for the long trip. I suggest you try out these chicken tenders if you haven’t and while you’re at it there’s all kinds of good stuff too! I love this place, and I will stop by here any chance I can.

I stopped in last Saturday. There was an issue that I didn't catch until today, a week later. Went back not expecting them to be able to fix the issue but I had to try. They immediately fixed the issue with a smile. I don't know that I have ever experienced customer service like I did today. Holy Smoke will be my go to for Barbecue from here on out!

My wife ordered a BBQ stuffed potato with pork and it was decent she says. I ordered the brisket plate with baked beans and potato salad. Baked beans were a little sweet for my taste. The so called brisket was not smokey tasting and it's texture and flavor was more like roast. Most brisket is served sliced and good brisket needs no sauce or seasoning.
