The Cuban sandwich, fried plantains, and guava empanadas were made fresh! We scurried home and devoured our food. The cafe is to-go only, but what better place to completely indulge in this amazing food but in the comfort of home! 10/10

I went down to Hartselle to visit friends and stopped by this place on the way back because I LOVE Cuban food. I grew up in south Florida and fondly recalled eating pressed Cubans growing up. I've been chasing that high ever since! Usually I'm left disappointed, but this Cuban was very good and extremely delicious. Not perfect, but maybe memory is better than real life at this point haha. The empinada was also delicious. Staff was friendly. I ate both on the hood if my car in the parking lot because I'm a savage and they sadly don't have dine in seating. Definitely check them out!

I was given some empanadas from the owners son that were from the Old Havana 🇨🇺 Cafe this past Saturday night at work. I was given the chicken, beef, ham and cheese and guava empanadas. THEY WERE HOT, FRESH AND DELICIOUS! I wished that I had taken a photo before devouring them but I didn’t 😂 I am planning on visiting the restaurant soon and I can’t wait! The food is amazing and you should definitely give it a try!!!!!

I got the El Cubano sandwich and guava and cheese empanada. I really enjoyed both items and saved half for leftovers the next day and it was just as good reheated. The man at the counter was very nice. My order took about 15 minutes to prepare. I’d definitely go back to try something else! Only thing I’d suggest is maybe have music playing in the front while customers are waiting.

The owner & his wife was so friendly & helpful. I bought 2 steak sandwiches & they were definitely worth the price. I made 2 meal off of the sandwich it's made to order so don't fret the wait because it's worth the wait. All ingredients are fresh & the breed home made.

Well worth the extra mile off I-65 to go there. Great portions for the prices! So good! Outstanding food! Friendly service. We had the Cuban sandwich, the steak sandwich, beef empanada and the 305 Miami style empanada with beef and sweet plantains. All were delicious. The citrus spices on the Cuban Steak sandwich were unique and absolutely yummy. The bread was amazing and fresh and hot. Loved the sweet plantains in the 305 empanada. Definitely will go back.

Stopped here on a whim today with friends and were so pleasantly surprised with this place. The owner was so accommodating and friendly and the food was truly phenomenal, especially for a small town. We ordered croquetas, empanadas, a steak sandwich, and the Cuban sandwich. Everything we ate was made fresh to order, clearly with love (and good ingredients). Already looking forward to our next visit!

This is one of my family's favorite local places in Hartselle! My brother goes here like every chance he gets. The flavors of the meats are incredible, and I love the croquetas. The Cuban coffee is also delicious. They're always very friendly at the counter and over the phone, gonna keep coming here 💛
