I LOVED sushi. In March 2023, I ordered from Osaka and ended up with TERRIBLE and excrutiating food poisoning and haven't been able to eat sushi since.
Last week, Dec 31st, 2024 we ordered food from there again. I got my usual, General Tso. I ate half Tues night, finished it Wednesday. Second to last piece tasted like fish, so I spit it out. Thursday, sick with food poisoning AGAIN. This is day 4, still recovering. Can't eat anything, can't drink anything. Up every few minutes to get to the toilet. Will never eat here again. There is an obvious need for food quality control.

It's the best sushi place in the area. Nothing in Decatur or Cullman comes close. The staff is always really nice and it's reasonably priced. I haven't tried the hibachi or their other entrees but I imagine the experience would be the same. Highly recommend.

Osaka is good Japanese restaurant in strip mall. Service was kind and food was really good. I enjoyed the Hibachi shrimp and fried rice with vegetables while my wife enjoy shrimp tempura.

Good sushi however would like a description on the website, always taking a shot in the dark. If you look it up on google it gives you a whole different roll. Twice now I bought rolls that I thought sounded good from what google said they were and got something way different. End up throwing away 9 dollars today because of what the crunchy roll end up being. The crunchy crab roll is great, the crunchy shrimp roll was way different the 2 times I got it. Good food but lord knows what you’ll get.
