“My parents and sister and I stopped to eat at the Freight House Restaurant in Downtown Hartselle for the first time ever and that was on Saturday April 12 2025 of this year and this was also the first time we had ever been through Downtown Hartselle especially since we’ve always been on the I-65 part of the city so this was not only nice for a change but everyone at the Freight House Restaurant was so friendly and welcoming and so kind and the food was so great and what was even better was being able to see the CSXT trains go by and we saw 5 trains go by while we were there. Most of the trains we saw were when we were inside the restaurant and the rest of them were when we were outside the restaurant and it was very nice for a change and we’re looking forward to going there again in the future the next time we travel! And if you’re in the Hartselle area or anywhere in Morgan County and you’re either traveling down I-65 going to Nashville or Birmingham or going down US Highway 31 I highly recommend you stop at the Freight House Restaurant in Downtown Hartselle! It is the best restaurant in town!“
