The whole fried catfish was excellent. The slow cooked pork was good. The sides were okay at best. I didn't care for the ketchup based BBQ sauce, and was surprised they didn't offer 'Alabama' white BBQ sauce.

Another childhood favorite of mine! I stopped in today once again was happy! The sweet tea is the best around! I got the small catfish filet today with fried okra and onion rings. The portions are large! I left with a to go box, and grabbed a BBQ sandwich and fried pie to go so I have dinner for the next 2 nights!

I eat from my plate and my siblings plates. From the stuffed loafed potato, the country fried steak, fried green tomatoes to the hamburger, the food is really really good. All of it. The servers are friendly and sweet. We had a huge family reunion at hop hat , everything was wonderful, the relaxed atmosphere helped alot , Thank God for the atmosphere at top hat BBQ. Families can be hard, this place helped eased ALOT of tension and stress . We had a Wonderful Great time. Thank you top hat for being You.

ate there today for the first time ....bbq pork sandwich was awesome ..just the right amount of sauce, hubby loved the onion rings,the baked beans were very tasty ,the cole slaw was very good( could be a little wetter) ....service was excellent , very friendly and attentive ...we will definitely be back <3

There's no words that can convey the amazing quality of this barbecue! For the last 40 years. I
have enjoyed this place immensely! And unfortunately in this day and age I have to travel 3 hours to get there but I try to do so at least every other month. My only saving Grace for him insanity is that I found a local place that competes with the flavor, but there's still something about top hat!
