“They have some of the best servers and cooks in the Houston County area. We all know Waffle House, in general, has some kind of reputation but I love the workers here. Chelsea, Dezmond, Blake, Lindsey, AJ, and few others make coming here worth it. I’d travel across the entire town just to eat here. They know their customers. They live the meaning of customer service. My only problem with Waffle House is they need to put all the menu items on the website to order since they don’t want us to call in orders anymore. Other than that, I LOVE IT HERE!“

“We stopped by today on the way home from Florida. We were tired of seafood and wanted vegetables so we Googled Meat and 3 in Dothan. I’m so glad we did - the food, and service were fantastic! We’ve already called friends that will be coming back thru Dothan in a few days and told them where to stop for great food. It will be a regular stop for us now on the way to and coming home from 30A!“

“Our soon to be 9 yr old LOVES steak from The Cellar. We decided to surprise him with a family dinner to celebrate and booked the small party room. The service was outstanding, food arrival was prompt and delicious, and everyone’s food was cooked to perfection. Almost all the party ordered steak! Thank you for hosting our family and making one little boys “family tree dinner” one to remember!“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Applebee’s.
One thing I have decided, work ethics and proper management are not as important as it once was. Many people are “flying by the seat of their pants” because they have been forced into positions they’ve no idea how to operate because of the lack of staff and support. Saying that, there are exceptions.
The server was great and very considerate. I was grateful she shared that the place was understaffed and there could be a longer wait time. She was very busy running the floor and door, but she was doing her best. I understood the situation and knew she couldn’t handle frequent rounds to the tables.
Oftentimes, that info is not disclosed and the attitudes and actions of the servers are horrible, resulting in “hangry” patrons and empty tables.
I did stay and my meal was served just as quick as any other time. And quite delicious I’d say. I’ll have another late night visit to Applebee’s!“

“I guess we got there at change of shift and was ignored for over 15 min. We finally had to call out for help and a couple said... I'm off the clock out completely ignored. After the next crew figured out what was going on the service wasn't bad.“

“We stopped before a long drive heading back home, what we didn't know was a main water line was just repaired overnight and had only been fixed shortly before our arrival at 5 AM. We were a little concerned but staff did a great job and provided us with a good meal.
10/31/25 I couldn't access the Link you sent about the employees that worked the early morning shift but the date was Saturday the 18th in Dothan Alabama and we were there close to 5 AM. I hope this helps.“

The BEST waffle house food tonight EVER!!!!
Not greasy at ALL! WONDERFUL taste! The staff was WONDERFUL as well. They were very professional and kind.

P.S. : we went around 11:00 pm or so at night. The staff was SUPERB! I'm guessing the bad reviews were from the day time staff?
I'd give the nice guy that works there five stars. VERY nice staff and GREAT food. Do wish they told me they had a 20 % fee for carryout. I always leave a big tip regardless, mostly at Christmas! You should let customers know. I spent 87 dollars feeding four people. 😳😳😳😳“

“This restaurant has gone down hill. It’s so scruffy, shabby and everything is worn out. Your feet stick to the floors in the bathroom. The carpet is dirty. The food has used to be delicious but the last two times the food is unrecognizable from a few months ago. Dry fish, dry coleslaw, fish and chips fry. Baked potato hard. It’s such a shame“

“We highly recommend, the Red Elephant Pizza & Grill. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Allan usually gets the elephant burger but tonight decided to try their pizza. He got half Santa Fe Chicken pizza and half meat lovers and both were absolutely delicious. The best he's ever had! Their menu is pretty extensive, with several different appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, rice bowls and even some low carb dishes. Their servers are very attentive and work with you on getting your meal just the way you like it. Great atmosphere, too. Our favorite server is Travis. He's the absolute best!“

“So we got to the restaurant with 4 people 2 of us black and 2 of us Hispanic cool they ask us to wait 15mins that was fine 25mins later 4 people came in all Caucasian they wait 5 mins now someone behind the curtain like the wizard of Oz tells them to come on to be seated and we are still waiting to be seated. Ethnicity and race shouldn't be a problem we make our money the same way and it's the same color as the white man/woman dollar“

“Fantastic in every respect of the word. From seating, to waiter, to selection, timing, atmosphere it was a great lunch. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. The waiter was so good we left 30%. If there was a drawback it was the tree outside that hadn't been trimmed that can contact your car and the coke was a lil flat. Otherwise, this is a great value and well worth your time and money for a good meal.

“The food and waitress was amazing, had an all American burger , with potato wedges , it was great and filling, great onion rings , bone in wings ,cheese sticks and fried pickles all were very very good , our waitress was on the ball. She never missed a step , her name is Bri.w. she's very friendly and helpful, she's totally awesome took really good care of us , sweet tea rocks , restaurant is clean and inviting, plenty of televisions to watch , we didn't wait very long to get our ultimate sampler , or our food, everything rocks at this location, we loved the service and food, we will be back“
