I enjoyed the breakfast; however the pastry not so much. However my wife and daughter enjoyed what they had. I would definitely go again. The customer service was spot on.

Delightful bakery! Great service, and the staff are already nice and helpful. The cupcakes are worth every penny. The King Cake is the best in central Alabama.

We discovered Brown Sugar Desserts by Renea at Pepper place Farmers Market. She has one of the best Red Velvet Cheesecakes I have ever had. Highly recommend this cake and we will stop by in the future to try more from her!

Amazing place for breakfast food or to order some cake

I ordered a custom cake for a colleague's retirement party. BSD made a delicious cake with light and airy buttercream frosting. Lots of compliments on how wonderful it tasted. BSD has great customer service and was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely order from them again for the next special occasion.

I stop by Brown Sugar couple times a week for breakfast. The food and service is always exceptional. I work at a business which employs 15 very different people. Occasionally when we meet goals the company has Friday breakfast catered for us. Not one time since I’ve been there has everyone been happy about a “free” meal. At least not until Brown Sugar provided the meal. We have used them twice now and not one gripe. That alone should tell you of the quality of food and people who work at Brown Sugar.

I have had several things from here and they are all excellent but my favorite is the caramel cake! Give their breakfast sandwiches a try too, you will not be disappointed.

I stopped by and picked up a Breakfast Bowl (grits, eggs, cheese,bacon, sausage) for the first time, and baybee let me tell you! It was really good! Reminds me of the grit bowls from Milos (IYKYK)Overall, the staff is really nice & the bakery is really clean ? I will be retuning ! ??

Every time I come in here, it's like getting a hug from a loved one. The owners & staff are just the sweetest, nicest people! Grit bowls, & Conecuh on a Croissant hit the spot for us this morning! Never had anything here I didn't like! They are good people. You can tell it in the way they run the shop, the attitudes, the love put into their food!
