Top notch food. Excellent service. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! We had a VERY large group show up, without notice. We were not only welcomed but received better service than I’ve received at some places with only 2 or 4 people and we had almost 20. The food came out hot and well organized, everyone was courteous and friendly, and coming and going was a breeze! They even sang and danced with a few from our group to celebrate birthdays (young and old). I cannot say enough wonderful things about El Tejano!

Service was great. Chicken was tough and tasteless. Quesadilla tasted like it was cooked on a grill that had burned food on it. Rice and salad were good. Booth was uncomfortable. We won’t go back which is unfortunate because it is a convenient location and their prices were fair.
I have been going here for months. Today I arrived with 2 others and was advised they now charge for salsa. The chips are free but they charge for salsa. We also arrived at 12:30 and they only had a brunch menu. I ordered the American breakfast, eggs over easy, and sausage links per the menu. It must have been a typo because they brought out patties. The eggs came out sunny side up and it was difficult to cut with a metal fork. The sausage looked to have been cooked yesterday. I sent the sausage back for new ones. Same thing, seriously, the sausage patties were cooked so long there was NO grease in them. I won’t be back, their prices have always been higher then Normal but there are in the country. Now they want me to pay for the salsa that I get free every where else. Without the tip, without alcohol and without salsa, total was $59.00

This is our favorite latin influenced restaurant in our area. I appreciate the variety of plates offered as well as the drink choices. I especially recommend the Mexican coffee. It has a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Don't be afraid to practice your Spanish, most of the staff speak fluently.
I visited the taco truck in Birmingham today. The guys were incredibly friendly and attentive. I received my tacos and was on my way in under five minutes. The ingredients were the absolute freshest, the taste was amazing, I am full and feel refreshed! Thank you so much for the great service!
