Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Visited Helena,Al drive thru, ordered a number 1 and the crispy chicken club combo. Got home and the chicken club had zero bacon and zero cheese, I also asked the girl if I could get the spicy chicken sandwich made into a club, she told me no that they are 2 different sandwiches, I am new to Freddy's so I took her word.
She never offered that I can add bacon and cheese to the spicy chicken sandwich for additional cost.
I guess they were too busy talking and having a good time.

Everything was amazing. Great custards and great service per usual. However, as we were sitting in the car after receiving our order, we watched one of the employees pick up what appeared to be one of the unwrapped white spoons from the floor at the register... and put it back into the container with the new/unused ones..

Just about everything was wrong, waited 20 minutes to get to order then waited 15 to get to the window,no drink or concrete was started till after I paid 45 minute experience

Fast service, relatively inexpensive fast food. Surprisingly good smash burgers 🍔 I actually ended up having a grilled chicken club but my husband's obsessed with Freddy's fry sauce and puts it on everything. I don't love the shoestring fries (personal preference) but the onion rings are a great alternative!

The oreo peppermint shake I wouldn't order again, I couldn't taste oreo at all- just peppermint and it changed the flavor of the food so if you do order it, I'd recommend eating separately so it doesn't change the food taste.

My father is hard of hearing and the older woman who took his order was very rude and short with both of us. This was our first time here and she was not kind or helpful when taking our order.

We haven't eaten at this Freddy's in a while. Over salted compared to the Hoover location. They have gotten our order wrong more than right but the thing that is upsetting me the most, is there's been 3 times we've gone thru the drive thru just to be told they're closed DURING the open hours posted online. If you're going to close before 10 pm, maybe post it online where folks check the hours

Just went through the drive-thru as I have times before for two milkshakes. I understand sometimes waiting for your order is necessary for various reasons but my shakes were placed on a table right by the window. It sat there for at least 5 minutes with no one there to give them to me.And then one was missing the marshmallow cream I paid extra for. Only people I saw in back were young kids (prob doing their best) looking really confused. For two regular shakes it was $11.52. Pricey but worth it for the taste, but service needs to be better.

Their smashed burgers are delicious. They have a different special each month and I usually order that. But when the special is not what I want, the regular menu items are wonderful.
The very thin shoe string french fries are a delight, and the special french fry sauce is the best to dip.

This place smelled so bad that I refused to let me kids eat anything. I've worked in restaurants before so I know what it can smell like if cleaning is neglected. It had that multi-day nothing cleaned stank going on. The health rating was 89, which is low but they would have been shut down if an inspector walked in last Friday.

Sat in the drive thru over 20 minutes and nobody moved. I don’t get it.

This is a great place. I been to another Freddy's in Ocala,FL before also. The place is spotless and good quality. I don't eat sugar so i can't comment on the frozen custard ice cream? It makes my mouth water thinking about it. The double cheeseburger with bacon is awesome ?

Omg, just why? Almost every time the order is wrong, missing, cold, melted. The app is so difficult to use and won't let you redeem rewards, you can't pick up app orders at the drive through window. They prepare the mobile order and don't put the custards or milkshakes into the freezer that is sitting right there for the mobile orders, so when you come in your milkshake is already all melted. I can't believe I've given up on the Dunkin' and now I'm giving up on the Freddy's in Helena, it's such a bummer, but I don't like always having to deal with an issue every time I go buy some food. The Freddy's out at The Grove is normal, no problems. Why are most of the Helena restaurants so bad?
