This was my go to chinese in Helena. It is just good overall at a good price and the portions are big. I often make two meals out of it. Its just good fairly inexpensive chinese food.

Nothing too exciting on the menu but a really good selection nonetheless. I'm always excited to see rice noodles on a Chinese menu. The egg drop soup warmed my soul and was perfect for a chilly afternoon. The general tsos was good but needed more heat. Our waitress was efficient and polite. Food came out fast and hot. The establishment was clean. This will probably be our go to spot for quick Chinese!

Mr. Lin's lives up to the hype. The inside isn't the prettiest or most welcoming but it gets the job done. The star here is simply the food. The taste, the portion size, and the price are unbeatable. They have hands down the BEST hot and sour soup in Jefferson County. Period. It comes with your lunch if you dine in. I've only eaten the General Tso's chicken, and I must say that the last time I went I had to ask them to toss it again because it had a lack of sauce and it wasn't spicy like I asked. However, they had no problem fixing the mistake and I left a happy customer with a massive amount of chicken.

They have the best Chinese in two counties!! Always friendly and accommodating, give ya as many bags of crispy noodles as you want for the soup (I like extra) and don't try to nickel and dime you for extras like so many do. Would like the Mongolian beef or general chicken to be spicier- maybe I just need to ask for that when ordering, but always good and always exactly what you ordered!!! Been a patron since the early 2000's when they were in bluff park.

Ownership has changed food is bland and pricey. This is not the same Mr. Lin whose owners previously ran New China in Bluff Park. Not sure if the original owners have a new restaurant but if anyone knows would they please share?
I drive 20 minutes to go here. It seems to be the best tasting in the alabaster Helena area. I've tried 8 in the area. Mongolian beef and beef & broccoli pictured. But Mongolian beef and general tso chicken are the best to me. ?

I don't know how this restaurant has such good reviews. We ordered the following for takeout: - Mongolian Beef - Sesame Chicken - Chicken lo mein - Kung Pao Combination special - cream cheese ragoons Nothing was worth eating. We were so looking forward to finding a great Chinese Restaurant but no luck. Our quest continues.

called this restaurant asking for a rice from the house, when I arrived they wanted me to pay for two rice and I notified him that it was only one, he told me that ok but that they were spicy and I told him that I never ordered rice with spicy since he was allergic and they told me that they were going to change it, they did as if they changed it, wait 5 minutes and he gave me a new rice. When I got home, when I ate it if it was spicy, they never changed it, my mouth swelled and I had an allergic reaction. When I called, they just told me to go to change it. They are irresponsible for thanking them not to sue them. It's the worst restaurant service, I don't recommend this restaurant, don't go.
